EU players missing out on a box.

✭Me (and probaly a lot of others) already have done my daily dungeon today, and gotten my purple reward. The event starts at 4pm (gmt+1), so we are missing out on at least 1 reward-box due to bad planning as we only get the box on our first purple reward of the day.
@ZOS_GinaBruno any way to set this straight for the EU players?
well it was clearly announced when it would start, if you did early enough => OWN FAULT

I didn’t mean “jump the gun” in a disrespectful manner, it’s simply a turn of phrase, that today, because of the event starting mid afternoon, people who do their randoms first thing, have, for today at least, got in too early.

ZoS should not decide whether or not to post/communicate on issues based on how people act on a message board. This isn't kindergarten it's a business trying to push a product that has tons of issues. If people are being rude towards ZoS on here maybe it's because people are sick of dealing with the bugs and the performance issues in a game that was released years ago.
They should aim to communicate well on all issues and give helpful responses REGARDLESS of how people act on here. We are the customer. Yes it'd be nice if people were more polite but I find it hard to expect them to be with how ZoS does things like ignore issues with the dungeon finder that people have been reporting for over a year and just launches an event that drives people to the broken dungeon finder.1 -

The official announcement on the site states that any random dungeon would do the trick when the event launches. Not that it has to be the first random dungeon of the day (the one that has a 20 hour cooldown). Sorry! I didn’t mean to come across harsh- just that there are players all over the world and it should be apparent that some people would have done them last night or early this morning US time, and that it should be a new slate when events begin.
Further to that, on my sorc I also did my normal daily with xp pot early this am (UK) as usual (I only have 460sth cp on NA so I do the 100k ones each day on all chars with a 100% xp pot, for the cp), same time as my healer - well 15 min later, and stil got a box on the char.

This is a prime example as to why having standard, fixed reset times rather than the variable reset times ESO has on some repeatables.
It's also a great idea to have the reset time based on the geography of the server. Something between 1am and 8 AM so it best serves each community vs a one time serves both continents.

It wasn't stated that the Cool down timer would reset on the Event starting. So that leaves the only other possible scenario that you would have to be out of cool down period, to qualify for the event loot box since the event loot box is triggered off completing your random daily dungeon that has always had a 20 hour cool down.
There was no mistake here from ZOS. Everything was stated correctly. Some players misread this information or assumed incorrectly which left them on cool down status and not being able to get the loot box on that character.
This is as simplistic as it gets. Not that it matters anyway. By the time dungeon finder has a band aid applied im sure you will be out of cool down LOL1 -

And you can get those rewards multiple times per day. Unlike these boxes which are only supposed to be 1 per day. I fail to see how this is related to the issue at hand.0
