Me (and probaly a lot of others) already have done my daily dungeon today, and gotten my purple reward. The event starts at 4pm (gmt+1), so we are missing out on at least 1 reward-box due to bad planning as we only get the box on our first purple reward of the day.
@ZOS_GinaBruno any way to set this straight for the EU players?

Not at all spurred by the amount of people crying to me that they’ve not got their reward and me having to come here, look for answers and see that they’ve jumped the gun doing dungeons today!
Ah happy days

It is NOT jumping the gun if you do your stupid randoms every day at the same time.
No one/nothing ever said it would correlate with first dungeon.

I didn’t mean “jump the gun” in a disrespectful manner, it’s simply a turn of phrase, that today, because of the event starting mid afternoon, people who do their randoms first thing, have, for today at least, got in too early.
I agree, nowhere does it say it has to be the first. It just says queue for a random dungeon, and lets not even get started about that old thing
You know, you could both just have thanked @ZOS_GinaBruno for giving such a positive response to this problem within about half an hour of the topic being posted...

While I very much appreciate Gina's commitment here, I have to agree with other posters, and I actually kinda expected her or someone from Zenimax to reply quickly to a major malfunction like this, especially in an event that's been announced and advertised like this.
It doesn't matter whether it was expected or not, a simple thank you would have gone a long way with such a quick and positive response.

well it was clearly announced when it would start, if you did early enough => OWN FAULT

You're both correct. Again, we're talking on our end about what we can do to address this.
It's an event, it shouldn't collide with the cooldown, it wasn't stated anywhere that it would either. It's not the players fault. So:
Event was advertised a long time in advance.
Random daily dungeons have a 20 hour cool down.
You done the random dungeon before the event and are in CD status and are wondering why you dont qualify because your on cool down?
Your own fault.

Reiterating what you first said doesn't give a response to what I quoted you on.It's an event, it shouldn't collide with the cooldown, it wasn't stated anywhere that it would either. It's not the players fault. So:

Doesn't need to be stated it is this simple.
Random daily dungeons have a Cool down of 20 hours.

"To participate, complete a random dungeon via the Dungeon Finder (Normal or Veteran) to earn a Mysterious Reward Box. (You can obtain one Mysterious Reward Box per character per day.) "
This is the exact quote from ZOS
Where does it say that it has to be your first dungeon of the day??

So the game is going to randomly pick one of your random runs to give you the box on? If it's not on your first random of the day how else would the game know when to give you the box?

you get a rewards box everytime you complete a random dungeon, you just don't get the full XP. I have loads of Blue Willpower rings because of this
