Is there any use for them still (excluding The Maelstrom’s Bow)?
As is people are claiming that you’re better off using crafted weapons now, and how the new Asylum 2H will outperform the Maelstrom’s 2H by a mile in PVP content. The Maelstrom’s Sword and shield have always been a joke, so what’s the point now of Maelstrom weapons from a stamina perspective? Or is it pretty much best to just deconstruct them?

Well. First of all, master weapons (I mean DSA/MSA/As weapons) are not positioned as BiS for anything. This is just an interesting option for buildcrafting. Secondly.
Bow is pretty strong for PVE and has some application for PVP (fighting in tight spaces). Don't think it should be buffed.
2H is not good in PVE and good enough for PVP. Well, it's difficult to imagine the active use of Critical Charge in PVE.
DW is very good for PVE and PVP. It is quite unpopular, but at the same time a very strong weapon, the only problem of which is difficulties with resource management.
S&B is good for PVE and PVP in some cases. In the first case - a good weapon as a gag for a single panel. In the second case - a good option for those who use Low Slash as spam ability.
I hope now you understand what this weapon represents (although you could understand it by reading their descriptions). Good luck in theorycrafting

Look like L2P issue..

Sure. Already more than two years. And it's clearly l2p issue and choice of playstyle
Although I remembered that MSA DW doesn't work correctly with Poison Arrow so for now it's not so good

Its not choice of playstyle but a mistake to use flury in pvp!
Any good oponent will get enough time to kill!
2H dot is very weaker, you will feel bad after seeing its hitting like 400 damage, normally stampede use once in a fight. VDSA/AS 2h are far better than VMA
