Alchemy provising enchanting skill morphs

Being undead comes at a cost. It has strengths but also comes with weaknesses.

This cannot be said with other customizations. I propose that for every customization there should be a tradeoff.

For every positive effect that comes with a potion or enchantment there should come a negative 1 with it.

For every negative effect that comes with a poison there should be a positive effect applied with it.

Base skills should be more powerful and now morphing a skill is just a customization.

When it comes to provising instead of having hundreds of recipes that do the same thing but are tied to your level, we now have recipes that scale and instead they have the same positive effects but vary by their negative effects.

As it is right now its almost mandatory to use potions, to enchant armor/jewllery/weapons, to morph abilities and to eat or drink some kind of buff bcz they have no downside.

Lets bring some sanity back to this game. If you want to be strong in a specific area it should come with a tradeoff.

Though I don't think the delivery of this idea was the best, it does have its merits.

Having skill morphs in the consumables skill lines (or the equipment skill lines for that matter) would add some variety and interesting decision-making for crafters.

    Good idea.

However, if you're jealous of those players using consumables to help themselves in combat ... spend some time and skill points to get your own crafting up to speed and matching.

I maxed out all my crafting. Zero jealousy over any of that. It just seems that when it comes to using potions/food/enchantments etc...the only downside is not being able to use it all.

Its pretty much mandatory. But take something like becoming undead. It has pros and it has cons. There is a real choice with consequences.
