    Eeeeso
Never thought about it before I just assumed everyone said it out. I call it TESO (tesso) because I remember we called it that before BETA. Then everyone switched to eso but me.

SO how do you pronounce FBI, or CIA, or NSA. ESO is an acronym, just like those. Saying it any other way than E-S-O is wrong.

None of your examples are acronyms. An acronym by definition is a collection of initials that form a pronounceable word. Just as a matter of interest, how do you pronounce LASER?

    Definition of acronym: (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/acronym)
    • a word (such as NATO, radar, or laser) formed from the initial letter or letters of each of the successive parts or major parts of a compound term; also

    Who the fork says "eeeso"?

Do you also pronounce brb as "burb"? Or UFO as "oofo"?

I do say "burb" because of reasons. In conversation with others, they usually don't play the game so I say the whole name Elder Scrolls Online. I also said the whole name for WoW and TF2. In my head I say eee ess oh, wow, and tee eff too.

Here's a question, don't we all say ZOS? "As in, you just farmed that bro? Prepare to get Zos'd". Zaw-st

Eeeso rolls off the tongue. Not entirely sure how to pronounce FBI as a word...CIA could be see-ah I guess.

Do you also shorten 2 syllable names to one? Like call people named Gina just "Gene"?

Lol that cheeves me off when people do that. Multiple syllable names deserve just as much effort to pronounce as Chaz :p

A true ESO fan will take his time and always proudly declare that the game they play is The Elder Scrolls Online. No matter how many times it may come up in a given sentence. Anything else is unacceptable.

I have a friend who alternates between Eeeso and Ehso, which infuriates me to no end.

To make it even more frustrating, when talking about Sword Art Online he says S-A-O.

There are few things in this world that drive me into an unstoppable rage faster than that very simple, utterly thoughtless inconsistency in his acronym pronunciation.
