How to counter Magicka Nightblades?

I am magicka sorcerer CP500. I am mostly fine in dueling any class, but when it comes to MagNbs I am always struggling. Any time I see MagNb dueling MagSorc, the NB takes the lead.
The single target damage is too high and they somehow can put constant pressure on you.
Any suggestions on how to cope with them?

✭✭✭✭✭Harness Magicka shields you from all the damage NBs and the resource return makes it a free cast.
Your burst is faster and better because NBs need to light attack a bunch of times, you just need a 33% proc from casting any skill.
NBs will have better resource management and seek to cloak when in trouble. They will win a battle of attrition, you just got to burst them down.Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.1 -
Metemsycosis✭✭✭✭Play nice and defensively with mines and shields and consider adding a pet against magicka nb. This helps save you trouble of locating a nb returning from invis.
Try this combo: detect pot, curse, meteor, fury, streak

Dampen Magic also shields you yes, in fact it gives a slightly larger shield than Harness, though Harness gives some magicka return, making it easier on sustainEdited by Benn G x on 1 July 2017 23:020 -

✭How to counter? Damn how to ENcounter them. Heh cause they are kinda rare hehehe.
Magblade against anything in a duel except a magDK is really good. That constant pressure is the playstyle. They try to heal through constant dps not through pure wards like sorcs do, and then when the burst is ready they throw it. It's not really better than a sorc burst though, sorcs have an easier set up and frag is up regularly.
As was said earlier magBlades will usually win battles of attrition. Harness keep your Stam up don't needlessly dodgeroll or break free. And just do the burst combo on sorc.
