Vvardenfell spaces have *~*Beautiful*~* use of verticality

One thing that was missing for much of the base game was a proper use of vertical space. You did have dungeons like the Vaults of Madness, which was fantastic, but overall it was all either very claustrophobic or very flat. Not so in Vvardenfell!! The public dungeons and delves are simply breathtaking, with tons of great screenshot opportunities. About the only time I don't much appreciate it is in the Forgotten Wastes when a flame atronach comes down at a bad time and knocks me off the ramp. ;)

These aren't carbon copies of how the delves looked in Morrowind, but that's, you know, actually REALLY GOOD all considered. They're enormous improvements while still engaging with vertical space in a way that feels so very properly Elder Scrollsy. Great job!

Delves and Public Dungeons have been getting better and better with each new zone since the original release.

Even with the overhaul they did to the original delves post-release, those can't hold a candle to the new ones.

It's good to see the steady improvement in this part of the game.

Are they challenging to play as well? I really want to see these spaces, but delves in vanilla ESO are some of the most boring overland content in the game, in large part because I can just spam one skill the whole way through.

Can't you do that with all overland content that isn't a world boss?

    Sadly, yes.

I get that lots of other people don't want to play the way I want to play, but I really wish I could actually enjoy the combat along the way to getting my achievements and skyshards. It's even worse in story content -- at this point, enemy mobs are just annoying time-sucks that get in the way of experiencing the story.

The thing I most appreciate about ESO is that the developers are always working on it and always really trying to get better and to make it better. The complainers just don't get it. It's one thing to note areas that need improvement, and another to pour on melodrama and suggest that ZOS is some kind of Evil Empire that doesn't have a clue. They DO have a clue, there ARE always working on it, the game IS getting better, but come on: this is a heckova complex piece of software and these things don't happen overnight.
