I have bought the updraded version of Morrowind on the profile that has ESO already on it. I have logged into my gamertag ( as I always do when I play ESO) and its saying I dont own morrowind but I have bought the updraded version. So Im assuming now I shud of bought it on my own gamertag and not on the profile that ESO is already on for me to play morrowind. I would like a member or Zenimax or someone with knowledge to help me understand why I cant play Morrowind on my own gamertag even when ive been playing ESO for ages on it via a profile thats set to my home xbox that as ESO on it.

Hi @watts320, if you purchased the ESO: Morrowind digital upgrade on the wrong gamertag via the Xbox Store, you will need to reach out to Microsoft for help.

Thanks for your respsonse. Problem I have is, Ive been playing ESO on my main gamertag for along time and ESO game is actually on another profile on my xbox that is set to home. So would the upgrade work on my gamertag even tho ESO is on another profile.

You can, but the ESO: Morrowind upgrade must be purchase on the gamertag(s) for which you want to play it. This is where Microsoft will need you assist you.

    Problem has been solved now.

The person i spoke to made me buy the upgrade again but on my main gamertag and then refunded me the money when I bought it. I think this is a wrong way of doing it has I may not of had the money to buy it again.

The person said there is no way to transfer across the purchase to one profile to another.

I have called Microsoft and they said to contact you guys as they have nothing they can do as of right now because "higher ups" don't want them to refund everyone. I have 2 accounts one that is my gfs and one that is mine. I bought the 60$ game that should be shared across me to her and come to find out I can't even play as I bought a 60$ dlc that cant be shared for the wrong account. So idk if you guys can change it to allow people to play if they bought this huge "dlc" but I would like if something gets figured out as I just waisted money. I mean I would have never bought it if it had a warning saying "this game/dlc doesn't allow you to share" but nothing.

Buy other copy and then ask for refund like the other post here. If they say no....then it's a no

ZOS can't refund Xbox purchases only stuff from their own store which would be by creating a ticket.

I understand that I'm just saying if they don't put a warning sign next to the game saying it can't be shared across accounts like every other game and dlc I have purchased I would appreciate it if someone within Xbox or here could help as Xbox said that zeni could help

My suggestion would be to call them back ask for a supervisor, supervisors have the power to over-ride accidental purchases.

    Update on my case:

I was promised a refund on 6th June and its now the 9th and I still havent recieved it although the person I spoke to promised me it in 24-72hrs.

I have spoken to someone else and they said they dont offer refunds like that and whoever I spoke to could of transfered my game across to the proper profile.

    Thanks Microsoft.
