Ehh that's exactly what happened with dromathra senche mount when it was released. Everyone and their dogs bought them.

I never really understood this either other than they maybe want to create limited chances of getting an item so people will impulse buy them thinking the items won't come back. I wish they would put the hero costumes back up for longer than a weekend a piece.

It's called Artificial Scarcity, it's intentional gimmick to incite a buy now response. It must be very effective since they have been rolling it out heavy with 4 to 7 day limited releases. If you don't buy it now you might regret it (Ignore the $50 for a mount or $80 for that house, you need it now)!

I don't mind the limited sales, but jeez let them stay up for a few weeks so some people can get a paycheck or 2 and spend their money responsibly. (without even previewing the price tag, all I get is to hope I have enough during that magic window)

Edit: PS: Not full of hate for the items, they look great, just on the sales tactics (i would gladly pay the silly prices if they left them up long enough for me to do so reasonably)

Yep agree, the one that is coming to the crown store just looks like a slightly reworked version of the existing corseted riding outfit.

Have a large catalogue of items release with each crate season giving 3 months to pick which items things you're willing to purchase before it switches to the next 3 month long season?

I suppose a solution to players would be don't have student loans and get a credit card so you can buy when they appear and pay later. Well those 2 things would solve my problems I suppose, too bad that first parts gonna take a while to go away.

I liked the Tower, went in, walked around, very unique looking. Disappointed it's limited time, so I won't be buying it. It's not that I couldn't afford it, but bullying people into impulse buying something that runs into the triple digits is a deal breaker for me, especially for something as functionally useless as housing is currently. Mounts usually only cost something like $20-$30 and they actually do something for you.

I did buy the Kagouti, at least partly because of it at least having a more reasonable availability window (also because it's pretty cute really). Like, 7-14 days at least gives normal people enough time to get their bloody paycheck. Since the prices aren't published ahead of time how could anyone know how much to save for it beforehand? If people can't afford something, they won't buy it, and that's a lost sale just because of some completely arbitrary time gate. Zeni's marketing strategist must be an absolute wallaby.
