Whilst one may use reference to an Xbox account, one certainly has been maintaining a completely unlinked PC account for a very very long time.

If you have the PC version and got the Beta invite, you can maintain your Beta invite.

@DRXHarbinger ZOS sent a message to me saying so, I didn't even initiate anything and got back my Beta access. There's no point in raging when the situation isn't nearly as bad. So you better link that PC account to your Xbox account

@IzakiBrotherSs Na dude, I have a completely separate PC account, had it since day 2 of launch, just never really used it until as of late. Have some friends who have played on it from day 1. Since I can't do a lot of content on console anymore ( and most of my day time friends have rage quit ) I've been using it a fair bit now (plus it has the Dwemer Sphere pet ) the sole reason it still exists is I was working over in your part of the world (Tignes) for a while and missed the console transfer window.

Remarkably my PC account has more Sharp VMA Staves now than my console account does with 10x the input. GG. I just hate gaming on PC. Also I meant the rage part in relation to our ever ongoing NO ETA on fixes.

You agree to it when you access the pts. that means anything covered under the nda you agree to not disclose. That only ends when the nda is lifted not when your access is ended.

I'd say you'd risk to be banned for life from ESO if you leaked something you saw on the forums.. but you might well succeed in a lawsuit if ZOS sued you, for whatever that's worth..

It's everything as other stated not just the game.

So until it's lifted or June 6th whichever ZeniMax decides

Also bear in mind as I've said in a previous post thier nda isn't legally binding in 99% of the world. I've checked EU law and it isn't. It's not in Canada, rest of the world they have no recognition in this format. And I'm sure that most US States wouldn't entertain it either.

The problem, as we already know from broken Maw, is their is arbitrary action by them and virtually no accountability. We also aren't allowed to be honest about how we are treated as paying subscribers. We can't talk about any action against our accounts or share if we are mistreated between the day this happened and now.

I don't want an argument with ZOS - just honesty and that we get what we pay for. There are so many games out there worth our time and money - yet lots of us pour it into ESO and we, I think, want to play without getting screwed over or treated with injustice.

I always viewed as just an intimidation tactic by Zenimax. Yea they can ban you from the game, but it's going to be really hard to prove "damages" that would warrant them suing people.

I like how this thread has devolved into Internet folks arguing the ins and outs over lawsuits that will never happen vs the "console would like a voice" message it started out as......

The big point being here is, THERE IS NO NDA until I have SIGNED OR AGREED to it.

People getting banned for breaking an NDA they never signed for/agreed to is total BS. They can't ban you for breaking something you never agreed to in the first place. That's ludicrous.

And making an assumption of what kind of person someone is on an entire imaginary situation, solely based on a few opinions of how to handle customer service, seems just as presumptuous as buying a new copy of a game because you hope it'll work on a different platform for closed server usage. Not a single word in your lengthy response ever hinted that the console players made any kind of mistake. So like I said, you continue to fail in seeing any wrong but by ZOS. And comparing a reasonable argument to the United response to that incident two weeks ago? Those are two clearly different situations. Your ideal statement holds true, but in reality, where both parties are typically to blame in a situation like this, the company is an easy scapegoat. ZOS never screwed up by forcing customers to buy another copy, nor did they directly tell them unless they contacted support; they simply sent emails out to the wrong people by mistake. If you cater to every customers gripes with giving it away for free, especially across every other vendor of your product, you're going to bankrupt a company. Fast.

The only middle grounds I can come to fathom in any case, is that those whom contacted support between the initial email dispatch and the green light to allow console users to be on the PTS, and were told they were in the clear to buy a copy of the game for PTS testing, deserve some kind of compensation. At least, if they don't even want to test the beta at this point, in which if they do, they got their wish. I'll happily be on your side when ZOS drags an irate attendee at PAX East next year out of the convention because they've reached max capacity, and prematurely think they need to make room for staff. Until then, I'll see the actual events that went down, from both sides, and the unnecessary bitterness that's going on because of a few mistakes.

Yes @psxfloh, I am. Pretty sure @IzakiBrotherSs was said person. If you read the earlier comments and searched for my name on them, you'd of known that, rather than accusing me of not. I literally apologized to him and anyone else that got legitimate instructions on doing what so many others are complaining about. What I've been writing about is that people that just randomly bought the game from console, without any investigation on how they might go about getting into the PTS, then made demands, ultimatums, and threw a tantrum, should accept their apology; this is because it's fitting for what damage was actually caused, a wrongly sent email vaguely describing PTS details, not telling customers to buy a PC copy to access said server.

I filed mine under billing then I can't redeem code.

You just have to keep responding when their automated system tries to close it. It took a couple days initially for them to restore the beta. I'm still doing that dance trying to get my forum access restored.
