Need Exact Answer: Does thaumaturge affect the lightning staff heavy attack?

Its a great mystery, I hear all kinds of rumors, I am wondering if any one can confirm this given the Heavy attack has orange numbers thus DoT?

I also hear that it triggers Skoria so that could also be a clue?

Please help.

You could have tested this just by changing cp. and yes it triggers skoria

Back when i tested it, wich is a while ago now, the first ticks was dots, the final hit was not.

Olsborg is correct. Combat Metrics shows the channeled ticks and the final explosion as seperate events. So light attacks and the final pulse do not get a buff from Thaumaturge, but the channeled ticks do.

Interesting, does staff expert CP skill buff all components of lightning heavy attack, so the DOT component and the final Bang at the end, or just 1 part of the attack?

lit attack is buffed for almost everything it can be buffed, except exclusive physical attack CPs and healing CP

That includes crit, penetration, elemental expert, thaum and staff mastery
