I stated earlier i only like magic classes or builds rather tried stam classes didnt like it.
My main us magic sorc been trying to figure out what my alt should be for a couple days now i think i found it but i have a couple questions first ..
If i roll a healer will it be hard?
I never healed before ive always been dps in mmos
Also how is the magicka dps of a templer?
So i can heal dungens in pve but roll dps for pvp? Which race fits those 2 roles High Elf?

Templars perform decently as magicka dps. From what I've heard, Sorcs are the top dogs for magicka dps, followed by DK and then Templars.

I'm a magplar healer main, and I don't think it's very difficult. Primarily, your focus is to keep your group alive. However, it is important to remember that your job requires more than just keeping your team topped off on health. You need to aid in resource recovery (Repentance, spears, orbs, magicka sap etc), keep your group buffed (Combat Prayer, Regeneration) and keep the boss debuffed (ele drain, backlash, siphon spirit etc). You also DPS as a healer when all of the aforementioned have been done and don't need to be refreshed yet. After a few tries, you should be able to do it without any problems.

Altmer, Dunmer and Bretons all work for both healers and dps. Argonians work well for pure healers. You can of course heal in dungeons and then roll dps for pvp, but you might have to realign your CPs (or enter the Azura's Star campaign) and have an extra set of gear.

For PVP there are a few different ways you can go with a Magplar.

Full on healer - As the guy above me said, doing this means you really have to heal, buff and give back magic and stam. I'd only do this if you plan on running with a dedicated group.

DPS, off heal- This is what I do. If you pump everything you can into magic and spell power you can do plenty of damage in PVP. Don't try a half measure though. You're not gonna DPS wearing all defensive traits. If you do enough damage your breath of life will be above 10k. More than enough to heal yourself and some friends, not enough to call yourself a healer.

Neither is all that hard per se, but remember that Magplars are way better in teams. Even the top DPS Magplars are not super great at soloing.

If you want to be a healer then be a healer. Yes, you will assist with DPS when all hots are up and there are no bodies on the ground to use repentance.

The best healing race in the game is Argonion currently due to their healer passive.

Healing is the most difficult role in a 4 man dungeon to learn. Do your research and learn how to heal.

If you go dps then it is easy mode with a magplar.

Healing is the hardest in dungeons? Lol now im scared to make one...
I never healed before ever in a mmo always been dps think ill be fine tho? Or give up now?
I already got a sorc hes lvl 50 cp 140 so im still verly new i want a alt tho so i wanted a healer and dps on the side but now im not sure if its a good idea if its hard and all cause i never done it itll be super hard for me then?
I could go nightblade but then again i dont like stamina chars/builds i gave my dk a try to 35 did not enjoy it only thing left is templer or nightblade like i said but since i prefer magicka i was thinking healing so i can get groips fast etc..
Not interested in mageblade because if they ever get a nerf im screwed because i dont like stamina and that whole class is pretty much stamina based

DPS is a lot more fun, double destro.
We have lots of DoT's and some good burst options.

I've healed since launch but I haven't really this year it can get pretty boring.
Healing has its moments; too easy for some occasions and an exercise in futility on others.
It's just practice / experience/ gear choices like everything else.

I would hit CP 160 at least before rolling an alt.

Don't be discouraged. Difficulty is extremely subjective. I personally find dps the most difficult because i get so caught up in the numbers and rotations and animation cancelling. It is also very demoralising when you deal less dps than you know you could or should.

If you'd like to try healing, do so! You might love it, you might hate it, but only you can decide that. Just reflect on what some of us have said here. If you're really concerned, read a guide or watch one on YouTube. Lots of them out there.
