How do DK and NB compare to Templar

I was wondering how do magicka NB and DKs compare to Magicka templar in terms of dps and sustainability? Also how do stam versions compare to magicka?

Magicka DK has more sustained DPS than Templars, but less sustainability. Magicka NBs are the other way around.

I can't really answer the Stamina question.

Well magika nb has more sustain thanks to siphoning strikes but lacks the dps numbers that a magika sorc can dish out. As for mdk from what I hear they have poor sustain and as such require support from a,healer. I have not heard recently how their dps is although in a trial situation it would have to be high in order to justify taking a melee spot.

Most people say that DKs are second best to Sorcerers, so it's pretty darn high. Plus they boost their whole team's damage with Fire damage attacks with Engulfing Flames, so they can help the Sorcerers deal a fair bit more damage, too. Not to mention Standard of Might.

Hm thats a shame i was trying to steer away from sorc I find the playstyle kind of boring the class doesnt really interest me for some reason.

Im sat at 190CP currently with not much funding on a magicka templar and was looking woth the exp event on to test something else. Ive managed to somehow end up with a velidreth shoulder piece too so was considering stam as alot of builds have it listed as bis.

Still not sure what to do! Cant afford to gear my templar properly and stamina mats are like 4x cheaper lol

The dk heavy attack build doesn't have any sustain issues

What server are you on? Also currently the bis armor for magika seems to be burning spell weave which is a dropped set.

It's also not BiS in competitve raids since homestead. This gets posted way too much. I used to have my own BiS HA setup but since the latest patch this just doesn't fly so well anymore unfortunately.
