How would bosses being able to crit would be fun? Imagine a boss would have the ability to hit a random person either for 15k non crit or 22.5k crit. As trial leader, would you force everyone in your group to get more than 22.5k hp and sacrifice a lot of damage compared to groups who don't do so? Or would you still run with 17k hp and reset the trial every time the boss does crit with that attack?We have tools to manage incoming crits. It would be a fun way to spice up the game.

In my opinion the best way to make bosses more fun is to add more hp to them so you can't skip any mechanics at all.

The tools would be everyone forced to wear impenetrable in trials, that's it.
As for people liking easy mode, I assume you have vMoL no deaths achievement and can get that every run?
