Single target PvP DPS: what are you pulling?

Just curious, since I only see trial junkies discuss DPS.
How much DPS does your PvP build pull on a target dummy?
On my PvP build I pull around 13k for 50s. (Don't have any monster set). CP225 StamPlar.

It's not like you can stand there for five mins grinding someone's health down like a boss.
You're going to be more focused on bursting, dodging, mitigating, line of sighting and DPS will be horrible.
If you're doing it as a gauge of how much damage a character does it should be based on each skills values and even then that's not going to be a great benchmark because of players damage mitigations being so varied.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

✭DPS in PvP...I'm playing a Magtemp on non-CP usually.
I think, if I'm lucky to proc a 3-4k skoria, I'll get 3k DPS. Otherwise it's around 2-2,5k. :DDDDD

Yea I get that. Again, just curious as to what PvE (target dummy) DPS everyone's PvP build pulls.
We all know people that pull 25k+ PvE target dummy DPS, but that of course is a PURE DPS build for trials, and is not fiesable in PvP since you require survivability, support, etc. of course.

✭A lot of PvP builds are burst orientated so would suck at a sustained DPS test on a dummy.
For instance, my magsorc could potentially one hit you with a proc'd empowered frag, but I use DW and would get a terrible DPS. PvP isn't about DPS so it's totally irrelevant.0 -
br0steen✭✭✭✭There are two ways to kill people and still able to maintain high survivability in pvp, burst or outsustain. You can be in a big group and use more pve style builds but generally speaking its not as effective, especially once your healers and cc tanks die.
Can't really test outsustain playstyle on a dps dummy. Outsustain would include stacking snares and using roots to keep your kill from gaining any distance to reset a fight as well as vuilds that use healing debuffs.
Burst is easier to test. Knock the dummy down to about 100k-120k health and burst as you would in PvP. Killing it in under 4 sec should be the goal. If you can burst 120k in under 3 sec you can probably kill the vast majority of players you come across.
Dps isn't an aspect of PvP, where people heal and move constantly.1 -

There's no way to meassure DPS on Cyro.

Takuto✭✭✭Remember that in addition to not running battle spirit, the target dummy is extremely lightly armored and not wearing any impen, so while it is a decent enough comparison between builds on DPS, it isn't a good representation of PvP dps.
Stacked penetration will strongly under perform on the target dummy, while high crit builds will strongly over-perform on the dummy.
It'd be nice if they added a PvP dummy which halved damage (battle spirit), had ~20k resists and ~1.5k impen.Eternal Destiny (PC/NA)

Without preparing for it with pots, skill changes, etc, in my straight dps setup and no buffs debuffs by anyone else i pulled 14k dps. I attritbute my low numbers to my arthritis and attention span. 7min of straight pounding a dummy is difficult for me. I had serious regen issues as well.
For giggles i equipped caltrops and volley and was able to get just under 17k dps, but still in dps gear. Would of been higher but i have up towards the end with my wrist hurting too much.
Also didnt realize i could quit early and still get a score since im on console.0 -

✭✭✭I ran out of resources a lot on my mdk so it took awhile for me it was like 11k but that was just whips embers and grothdarr procs and meteor with lots of light attacks lol
My pve build does 25k dps0
