Blazing shield templar

How to kill a blazing shield templar with 80k health that is able to tank 10 ppl easily while doing insane dmg and pulling you to him while you are attacking him with this new monster set?

They only do damage if you try and damage them. I know I am going to sound really unhelpful, but if you ignore them then they probably can't do anything to you except be annoying. Poisons and cc to wreck their limited resources, negate magic to take away their shield, kite them, there are lots of minor counters but the best solution is to avoid then ignore them.

1. Use Ranged attacks
2. CC/Root them
3. Since you are specifically talking about swarm mother, it can only pull one person at a time. The best way to counter a blazepar is to be patient. They can only damage u if u try to attack them so once pulled, CC, the walk away and attack outside 5 meters

Stop and chat, that a good way to look at it...blazeplars cross faction share a bond that no spec can EVER understand...were like brothers seperated at birth...

I love the spam traps on them...

Like literally just sit there putting another trap down everytime it procs.

It's funny, that or use the root poison to annoy them.

Anyways, if you're up against a BlazePlar, don't just attack him. Use poisons, ccs/roots, silence,... and in the end he'll just be a bag of meat to smack around

@Tryxus that sir...is extremely accurate. All this talk about blazing tanks makes me want to drop my templar dual bow build for my old trollplar build XD

Advices to do no damage are a bit... meh. Blazeplar deals less damage than a real DPS build even if you explodes his shield everytime. Just heal \ shield through, do some kiting if needed and drain his stamina and magicka. The fight will be long but I assure you Blazeplar isn't as hard as he seems to be. Anyway if you want you can abort the fight - without exploding his damage is very low.

If it's 1v1, just do this. Although some players see a BS Temp and welcome the challenge.

In some group situations it may not be possible. Sometimes you need to take a BS to the face for the team. For the Pact!

All the advice posted here is good. Just remember every build has a strength and weakness, once you know what the weakness is you know how to counter/exploit it.

The Shield Breaker set is great against BS Temps and shield stacking sorcs.

He's not talking about swarm mother if 80k health is involved.

Buy shield breaker and dedicate your build to increase bow damage. Every time you see him he will run with fear.
