All angry people should go FISH to calm down and stop making these threads. Plus, they will make some Perfect Roe(After all, there's a new char to level up in june).

Why I don't care? I'm not ESO+, always pay for the DLCs, and if the game get worse, i'll simple quit the game. I don't live this game that much like some people around here.

I will just move on and keep an eye for the released information and see if worth buying the Expansion.

Don't other major MMOs have expansions that are about the same price of a new release game? Doesn't WoW have something like 234 expansions by now?

I am good with what they are doing.

I am fortunate to have met most of the dev team and know they truly love the game and are extremely passionate about what they do! I believe that they are keeping the best interest of the game in mind when they make decisions. They will never please everyone and they are quite aware of that fact and do the best they can!

Just because I care if people know my feelings on the subject:

After being chronically disappointed by WoW in recent years, I just can't bring myself to pay subscription fees. You give the developers a monthly fee and they will inevitably use that money turn around and break something you enjoyed about the game.

Now I just buy the dlc ala carte so I'm only paying for the stuff I actually want.

No matter how many time the whinetards asks this no matter what way they ask it ...it's always the same.

The vast majority likes or loves the game it won its 2nd or 3Rd straight mmo of the year and has an expansion that is being preordered like hotcakes.

Cancelled my sub after crown crates.

    Expires in March.

I'll make a decision on Morrowind after they decide to share if they are increasing gear CP.

If they increase gear with no system to attune already golden out gear and weapons I'll check from time to time but I won't spend money on the game.

They've already said they will not be increasing gear CP with Morrowind.
To clarify, we do not plan on raising the gear cap when Morrowind launches in June. We’ll let you know when we plan to raise the gear cap in the future, but it won’t be in Homestead or Morrowind.

I can afford the subscription and the yearly expansions, and compared to how much I play this game it's well worth it. I don't think I could get the same amount of gametime if I were to spend that money on buying 3 separate games. If they keep producing good content (not One Tamriel or Homestead, but ACTUAL content with replay value) I will consider it worth it, and if they are even able to top Orsinium in terms of quality then it'd be amazing.

The biggest problem I see with this whole Chapter business, is the fact that they want to produce one of those ~30 hour enourmous upgrades per year. I might be misjudging ZOS' capabilities on how quick they are at pushing out content, but I feel like that is a tremendous goal, when they are also making 3 separate DLCs each year. They'll likely have to hire a lot of new people or we may not end up getting our money's worth.

All that being said, I do think they are being a bit sly by not making the expansions available with crowns.

Currently what worries me the most is all the unaddressed performance issues in the game that have been steadily worsening with every patch and update since Shadows of the Hist, on top of all the things that have been left broken for ages.

After the announcement, I decided to sub for another 6 months and bought the Collector's Edition upgrade. Why? 1. I know the difference between DLC and Expansion. 2. I'm not a brat. What I get from the sub is well worth $13(even $15). 3. Most importantly, they've worked really hard on this expansion and you can tell by the amount of content it'll have so this is my way to say great job ZOS!

    Sub.

    Pre-ordered Morrowind.

Looking forward to one large content update a year and smaller DLC.

I'm keeping the sub for now but eso+ doesn't get a buff before June I'm likely to cancel. I'm on board with the new chapter model but we're losing 1/4 of our dlc perk.

Yes, go look at any other MMO that has a subbed based game, or the option to sub and tell me if any other one gives a better deal than ESO right now.

There's no option for, "I don't Sub, if I see something I want, I give money."

Honestly so many of you believe that choosing to go the monthly subscription route entitles you to EVERYTHING. I had expectations regarding the monetization of expansion packs based on previous experiences with other MMOs.

    My expectations were met.

    I'm going to stay subbed.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

As in the latest development with ZOS and the article as it was presented to us, for which the link is bellow-
    http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2017/02/01/welcome-to-2017
it's a simple question in front of us. Are we going to just ignore the balent lies thrown to our faces all this time again and again, promises which were made and never kept, DLCs promised and never delivered, bug fixes promised and not done, and now on top of that a new content delivery system in terms of real life money paid to them. In name of content, being delivered more and more broken mechanics, half developed system i.e. justice system, Housing and breaking the whole game progression system in name of 1Tam, so that they don't have to fix other loop holes like vDSA leader boards, or scaling dungeon and other various exploits. So my question stand here as mentioned in the subject-

Actually them making a full expansion is making me want to come back. Truthfully im pissed the game went B2P its what destroyed the game direction, population and hope for playing a premium product. The lie was this game was going to be subscription base. Dont cry now they are actually making some sort of premium content. other then throwing solo centric barbie doll single player RPG content. if you were subbing for those DLC's your dumb you could have gotten all that for 75 bucks. the only reason to sub was to play the game with inventory management, advanced riding, and full access to gear. Relax at least they are actually making content now instead feeding of the churn barbie doll player that just wanted to look cool and run around the world.

What gets me is the OP is constantly going on about how 'broken' this game is, when the reality of it is that this game is no where near as broken as he listed. In fact, as someone who has played this game obsessively that ive used all my character slots, I can say that half the issues you listed are in your mind. Sure I see some gameplay issues when it comes to lag, and sometimes some random logoff's, but other then that this game is in great shape!!

With that said, when you consider that Morrowind is $40 but comes with additions that would add up to be worth one month of crowns in purchases, so you're really only paying $25 for the game. $25 dollars, thats not even two months worth of the subscription, and its adding far more than any DLC this game has introduced.
