Why I don't care? I'm not ESO+, always pay for the DLCs, and if the game get worse, i'll simple quit the game. I don't live this game that much like some people around here.
I will just move on and keep an eye for the released information and see if worth buying the Expansion.2 -

I am fortunate to have met most of the dev team and know they truly love the game and are extremely passionate about what they do! I believe that they are keeping the best interest of the game in mind when they make decisions. After being chronically disappointed by WoW in recent years, I just can't bring myself to pay subscription fees. You give the developers a monthly fee and they will inevitably use that money turn around and break something you enjoyed about the game.

✭I see no problem with what they are doing and i'll support what they have done so far as well.I can afford the subscription and the yearly expansions, and compared to how much I play this game it's well worth it. I don't think I could get the same amount of gametime if I were to spend that money on buying 3 separate games. If they keep producing good content (not One Tamriel or Homestead, but ACTUAL content with replay value) I will consider it worth it, and if they are even able to top Orsinium in terms of quality then it'd be amazing.
The biggest problem I see with this whole Chapter business, is the fact that they want to produce one of those ~30 hour enourmous upgrades per year. I might be misjudging ZOS' capabilities on how quick they are at pushing out content, but I feel like that is a tremendous goal, when they are also making 3 separate DLCs each year. They'll likely have to hire a lot of new people or we may not end up getting our money's worth.
All that being said, I do think they are being a bit sly by not making the expansions available with crowns.
Currently what worries me the most is all the unaddressed performance issues in the game that have been steadily worsening with every patch and update since Shadows of the Hist, on top of all the things that have been left broken for ages.0 -

Why? 1. I know the difference between DLC and Expansion. 2. I'm not a brat. What I get from the sub is well worth $13(even $15). 3. it's a simple question in front of us. Are we going to just ignore the balent lies thrown to our faces all this time again and again, promises which were made and never kept, DLCs promised and never delivered, bug fixes promised and not done, and now on top of that a new content delivery system in terms of real life money paid to them. In name of content, being delivered more and more broken mechanics, half developed system i.e. justice system, Housing and breaking the whole game progression system in name of 1Tam, so that they don't have to fix other loop holes like vDSA leader boards, or scaling dungeon and other various exploits. So my question stand here as mentioned in the subject-
Actually them making a full expansion is making me want to come back. Truthfully im pissed the game went B2P its what destroyed the game direction, population and hope for playing a premium product. The lie was this game was going to be subscription base. Dont cry now they are actually making some sort of premium content. other then throwing solo centric barbie doll single player RPG content. if you were subbing for those DLC's your dumb you could have gotten all that for 75 bucks. the only reason to sub was to play the game with inventory management, advanced riding, and full access to gear. Relax at least they are actually making content now instead feeding of the churn barbie doll player that just wanted to look cool and run around the world.0 -

In fact, as someone who has played this game obsessively that ive used all my character slots, I can say that half the issues you listed are in your mind. Sure I see some gameplay issues when it comes to lag, and sometimes some random logoff's, but other then that this game is in great shape!!
With that said, when you consider that Morrowind is $40 but comes with additions that would add up to be worth one month of crowns in purchases, so you're really only paying $25 for the game. $25 dollars, thats not even two months worth of the subscription, and its adding far more than any DLC this game has introduced.1 -
