I am aware that there might be a lot of similar discussions about that matter, but the more we will talk about things the more likely they will get changed.

Remove (at least Nerf) the Champion System:
From decently balanced 1.5, we have come to relase of the problem --> 1.6. I am not saying that CPs were entirely bad idea. Tamriel Lore always had some taste of star constelation I respect that. The game itself had rewarding difficulty level but the more CPs I was gaining the easier game was getting. On the very begining of that operation it was like 400k exp/CP (for those who are relatively new), it required some effort, resources and knowledge to grind effectively. Good player were getting even better, the punishment they were able to represent, these cost reduction, those resists, man. I liked it myself, but guess what, pugs crying, dmg is too high and stuff, okaay. Next patch, bring first nerf due to that, Battle Spirit changed to 50% reduction hmm..., easy way to balance the game ha? It was first failure of the CP System.
How about second? We didnt have to wait too long, CP cap with Orsinium Patch. Reduced good players population a bit, what would u do after grinding entire days to get 1000+ CPs and suddenly got it cut by half? CPs got easier leveling system that wasnt good thing either.
Here we are, MoL is getting released and due to cap, Zenimax started making changes to constelation. Merging Magic to Elemental Expert side hmm... why would u cap something with purpose of reducing damage and then buff certain classes like Sorceror with this? Consider it as another failure due to lack of logic (pugz crying is irrelevant at this point).
Dark Brotherhood, this, this... this patch is when game started collapsing. Trait changes, heavy armor buff, Viper, poisons, it definitely wasnt good for the game, but what was going on with CPs meanwhile? Well, not directly with CPs but with certain skills damage type changing. Incap Strike, ganker's best friend , skyrocking DK's DPS (flame to poison changes), hurricane for Sorcs. Well so we are having buffs again, who wanted that? Due to lack of recent CP changes u might think that they are balanced now, are they? No.

Ultimate solution: remove Champion System.
Viable solution: reduce the amounts in blue trees from 25% to 5%, cut reductions down to 5% or less in green trees, same in red trees down to 5%. Also bring back certain damages types/reductions to original spot. Remove the cap. Lower values, makes lower impact, what makes game more vurnelable to balanace.

CPs are not the only issue of the game, but its definitely the biggest one. This is what I come with, after playing the game for some time now.

    Complaining about getting CP ranks becoming to easy so get rid of it entirely?

    I personally don't think CPS are that big of a deal they certainly don't disturb balance much but that's just my opinion.

    Sorry but I don't really understand much of the point being made here. That's not a criticism of you, OP, I can assure you that any attempt to give my thoughts on the CP system in your native tongue would be pitiful by comparison :smile: !

    If I got it right, however, the concern is mainly to do with balancing. I have no concern with balancing issues, I don't do PvP or competitive PvE so any such issues simply don't impact on me. The only change I'd make with the CP system would be to make CPs character-specific rather than account-wide, but I know that would be unpopular with a large section of the playerbase. Ironically, that's often the same section of the playerbase that complains about imbalance or the game being too easy when what they're really referring to is the problems that arise when you have some low-level characters running around with hundreds of CPs and others with none :wink: !

    They made game to easy, which I dont consider a good thing.

    According to balance tho, well I thought all I wroten was enough. Best example is ganker with 100 in Mighty one-shoting people with heavy attack+incap+velidreth+viper, all getting that 25%. Massive diffrences in DPS between classes in PVE.

    I feel making the CP Character based and not account based would have a horrible effect on the games player base. I know for one, people would not likely have several alts, they'd only have 1 main. Obtaining the CP I have has taken a long time, doing it again would not be happening. That for me is the absolute reason for me not liking that suggestion.

    The CP isn't what is making this set 1-shot you. It's the proc sets proccing one another (which has been stated isn't suppose to occur but some how, it does) and them all proccing at once (which happens far too often)

    By one-shot I meant more like killing person in 1s, just by heavy attack and skill, while two others things procs. Still all these are highly supported by CP system.

    Yeah, CPs are the reason why sustain can become a non-issue, why abilities hit so hard (looking at you Elemental Expert and Mighty), and why someone can somehow have High Weapon/Spell Damage, High Stamina/Magicka (each CP gives more and more), AND High Weapon/Spell Critical (a whopping 12% buff is given through CPs). Penetration can completely negate all the Physical or Spell resistance of an enemy thanks to CPs. On top of it all, resistance to specific damage types is boosted by CPs as well, making DPSs also become pseudo-tanks with enough health to not need to put Health onto any Enchantment or Attribute.

    Let's just throw in the face they got rid of softcaps, and things go way out of proportion.

    It's the latest silly craze. Some think needing CP helps bring balance when all CP odds is make balance more obvious if exists or doesn't.

    Real a weak and bad idea.

    I can understand that, which is why I said it wouldn't be a popular move to make CPs character-specific.

    Perhaps the answer is to make CPs account-wide but not usable below level 50. Alts wouldn't have to do the "grind" again, but wouldn't benefit from the account's CPs until they reached the level they were intended for.
