I know we are lucky they spoke at all thats the damn problem, sry but it the same crap every patch. I don't honestly expect anything to change but at least I can vent every now and then.

There is no such thing as a "regular scheduled maintenance end time" It lasts as long as it lasts. learn to live with it and do something else.

The "backend" work was most likely not in the plan, which is why we weren't notified ahead of time. Anybody who's worked in IT knows all too well how unexpected issues can arise.

Reason for no eta is because people expect that time to be when the server opens. ETA does not mean that it is 100% guaranteed, it is a estimated time. No eta is better than a eta so people could constantly be impatient and post on the forums.

Lol an ETA is just that an estimate, its better than saying nothing for 6 hours followed up with the oh we need to do more backend bs after the EU devs stated they ran into a problem.
