So why did it take you 5 and a half hours to tell us this.

The fact that they wait for 2 hours after regular scheduled maintenance should end to notify us of another 2-3 hours more is pathetic, this is 2016 not 2002 surely they can manage relying on more than one community manager doing their job. No offence to Gina she does a great job but no one person should be responsible for a company that runs a 24/7 international service.

You just made me laugh. Might be time to unplug yourself from the Internet for awhile. Go outside. Get some air. Seriously, you're lucky they spoke at all.
I do hope the paperwork (Natch Potes) will be completed by the time the backend work is deemed complete...ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Morning guys! I swear every single time there's maintenance people have to make threads about how inconvenient it is.
Give it some hours, go make a sandwich, check back with the forum and it'll tell you when it's done.
it would be nice if they would at least give us an ETA on the servers coming back up, instead of just saying, "welp, we're gonna shut down the servers for a while, good luck guessing when you can play again."

And then be accused of lying when the ETA isn't met for whatever perfectly legitimate reason? Most MMO developers gave up giving ETAs long ago for precisely that reason. It's the same with delaying the patch notes until the maintenance is almost done and they are certain that all the intended changes have made it to the actual live release. Besides, anyone who's played the game for a while knows roughly how long to expect to wait but understands that these things are never an exact science.
