Hello comrades,

Any updates about the New life festival? Double xp bônus? Double loot? It's starts later this week and I need to plan my schedules :D
“Kings of the land and the sky we are; proud gryphons.” Stalker stands, the epitome of pride. Naked and muscular, his wings widen and his feet dig in as if he alone holds down the earth and supports the heavens, keeping the two ever separate.”

They've mentioned something in other post's about the New Life Festival, was that they were going to announce it early this week with dates of New Life Festival. By what people have been posting links and such they say December 14th - January 4, and their little announcements with the crown store item's, on the website says, on November 15th. lol So in between there. I guess we'll see!

I wonder if the event is centered in Windhelm? There seems to be a strong Nord theme to the event.

Furthermore, is that party in Windhelm still going strong since beta? You know "the corn-loon-licker"? I love Rigert the Brash's character. They must have livers of steel in Windhelm for all of the drunken escapades the have.

It had a double xp bonus on the PTS (after you drink from a keg), but no double loot.

All of the playable races celebrate the New Life Festival in some way. You are going to explore these ways through the quests that are part of the event (except for Imperials). But the NPC that gives them out is close to Windhelm (probably because it is a snowy map). The Nords have one quest, like everybody else (but Imperials).

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

This one looks forward to the New Life Festival and all it's attendant revelry. So much drinking, eating and munching on sweet moon sugar delectables to come.

Then constant binge indulgences followed by (/sick) purging, to make room for more. A festive debauchery to heighten this one's sensual pleasures, no?

If they follow suit from the last two major festivals that had XP buffs, it would probably be a 2 hour repeatable buff, but I haven't been on PST, so don't go by me <g>

Based on the link posted above, this stuff looks pretty imaginative. I'm looking forward to the festival...

It is not in Windhelm, it is south of it, under a decorated tent. The cities are not decorated, but there are people wearing festive clothes here and there.

You'll need to drink from the keg in Windhelm every two hours for the double XP buff.

One Tamriel. There are now ships that will take you from your starting faction zone to other faction zones.

Having everyone in one location for this festival is IMHO not a very good idea.
Although they might be using this to get stress metrics on the game.

who had this terrible idea to have us go to Windhelm each time ?
i want to level a char lvl15 who has to go from Davon's Watch all the way up on a lvl4 horse speed ..
and what about the already long taking loading screen just to eventually tp there afterwards ?

Anyway , it's great there is an xp boost better then not don't get me wrong . it's just so idiot in this way !!!
