    My favorite is when they run defensive posture, my medium weave gets passively dodged and then my frag gets reflected. Yay RNG...

    Its very random, sometimes it dodges everything, sometimes it never dodges. On avaergae it is a 20% damage reduction

    And when the chain dodge kicks in on a fight and you can hit him like once twice befor he kills you that there a good 80% mitigation on that fight.... its broken..

    If you have 40k magic then you'll run out between shuffle + dodge roll before you can land a hit

    I don't understand the fascination with RNG that ZOS seems to have. It is everywhere and to a high degree.

    It's 20%. It's been tested multiple times.

    I understood that its 20% to trigger - but once it triggers there's a short window where every attack will be dodged.. So with a lot of incoming attacks from a lot of people, in a short timeframe, a lot of them miss, then lots of attacks makes it trigger quickly again.. (ofc you have to be able to survive those all those attacks that do hit)..

    Not something you'll see with 1v1 testing.

    It really is the difference between a 1v1 test and 1vX reality. In a 1v1 scenario it works as intended but in a 1vX scenario the amount of incoming attacks makes it trigger pretty close to continuous. Probably the only real way to fix it would be to add an internal cooldown to the trigger.

    FACT. Watch how many times you miss Kodi and Jedi. There s obviously something still broken or a bug being exploited.

    They should get rid of this rng nonsens anyway. Im using evasion over spiked armor on my dk since it's a thousand times better in mitigating damage. It's nothing but cheese and frustration.

    Blue will never because evasion is a Stam based skill and they usually dodge roll at the time that's why it gets such a bad name. This is why it appears stronger but Iv tested shuffle it's where it should be at for dodge %.

    Shuffle/Evasion 20% dodge chance = 60% dodge chance while on a stamina character. On a magicka character, >5% chance....

    Wrong. No dodge all attacks window exists after a dodge proc from shuffle

    RNG is to allow players to... by chance turn a defeat into a win with stats. Can't have a MMO being competitive least you want the casual PvEers and so called PvPers to go jump on the no skill no grind GW2 bandwagon or that WoW failscade wagon.

    It's good for business, for sure. It's just not good for skill based combat in the sense it's in now. But meh w/e that's why I play Smite for competitive PvP and play ESO just to casually proc on fools I'd normally never stand a chance with. Brings more casual players into the game. Casual players are the bluk of the whale community. Whale community drop hundreds of dollars like poor men drops One Dollar bills on strippers.

    Again it's just the way MMOs are these days, which is why MOBAs took off the way they did since they are currently the only option for competitive skill based gaming.
