That means the death recap adds up ALL ticks while you were in it and displays it as one entry on the recap.
It's a terrible death recap, and has led to many misunderstanding with other DoT's like Radiant Destruction, Caltrops etc...
The fact that you raked in 5 insightfuls from your comment just goes to show many players actually don't know this simple information...
I thought it was common knowledge!

Slice is higher damage. If there a npc in execute Thier splash dmg is massive. Love gone guards and pets for that.

Flawlless✭✭✭Look at the recent videos where players are wiping 5-10 enemies in a few seconds with this ultimate. It reminds me of instagib magicka bomblades a few patches ago. If Zos nerfed that I don't see why they would let this go on3

That's how I die to this most of the time, someone uses it in a tight space where I'm fighting multiple enemies and with all the other lighting effects going off I don't even know I'm in an AOE of certain death until too late.2 -

give me back unblockable soul assault like this ulti, make UNBLOCKABLE ALL AOE, CHANNELING ULTS and ofc unblockable detonation to this because it will be not balanced to zergbuster skills + remove all red circles from every aoe skill then, and try to distinguish if it is aoe from your mate near you or maybe enemy fighting near you 0 -

Problem with that is that all the splash dmg on 2h abilities double dips on battle spirit. It gets decreased on the primary target, then also decreased on the secondary targets. Meh.PC/NA
