Sorc passive "Energized" doesn't apply to Force Shock ability? Bug or Working as Intended?

The sorcerer's Storm Calling passive "Energized" is supposed to "increase physical and shock damage by 3%/5%". However, if I go to the tooltip of the Destro Staff ability Force Shock (aka Force Pulse)- I see the same damage ability for Flame, Ice, and Shock. Shouldn't it be something like 100, 100, 105?

I know that the Dunmer's passive ability, "Destructive Ancestry" (increases flame damage by 7%) will cause my Force Shock ability to read like 107, 100, 100 for Flame, Ice, and Shock.

Is my tooltip messed up or have we been missing out on a passive? The Sorc passive does NOT say "When using Storm Calling abilities"... so it should apply to all shock damage, right?

Please let me know if I'm wrong.

    Don't take my word for granted, but I remember seeing a similar post on the forums about the same issue. Apparently, it was discovered that the Destructive Ancestry passive interfered somehow with the Energized passive. I'm not sure if it was just a broken tooltip issue or if it truly didn't apply at all in terms of damage.

    EDIT: by the way, Destructive Ancestry now grants 2% additional damage for Shock and Ice at max level, so if the 2 passive listed above were to work correctly and add up to each other, the final tooltip would read the same value for Shock and Fire damage, and 5% less for Ice.

    @Bad_Company Thanks, man.

    I'm theory-crafting a build for when the updated sets drop. I was thinking of:

    Dunmer (7%fire, 2%ice, 2%shock damage bonus) Sorcerer (5%shock bonus) wearing 5 Silks of the Sun (5% fire bonus) and 5 Ice Furnace (Ice damage causes Firey Explosion) with 1 Molag Kena.

    I figure he could use a Lightning Staff with an Ice enchantment and it should cause phenomenal damage with Force Pulse (since it hits Fire, Ice, and Shock). It should procc Ice Furnace with consistency.

    I'm also thinking that the Mage's Guild Ultimate: Ice Comet will not only cause cold damage... but should also cause a burst of flame damage as well. ;)

    @jaburns I like the idea of playing with all the elements!

    Just a few notes, though: Silks of the Sun doesn't grant 5% bonus fire damage anymore. It now provides you with up to 400 extra spell damage with fire skills. This bonus, of course, wouldn't add up to the procs from Ice Furnace (being it a non-skill source of damage).

    What could be more effective to this end would be using 5x Julianos/Twice-Born Star + 2x Ilambris (new monster set able to proc 2 meteor showers dealing lightning and fire damage) + whatever you like. Like, you could be a sorcerer with 2 destro staves, 1 fire destro on your main bar and one ice destro on your backbar. This way you'll use all the elements anyway, but with much better results :)

    I found the same thing with the Elemental succession set and crushing shock. It didn't alter one of the three.

    By the way, that set would be mint for your build as it rotates some pokey damage through the elements
