If you're dying from just 2 attacks in that short space of time, nothing can save you if you weren't blocking to start with. The damage does seem very high tho, maybe you need more health or physical defense?

Thats just a 1 shot ganker build. You had no active shields, no RML and light armour....

Sure there are a few nightblades that gear for this, but they all don't. Just because a few use this play style does not mean nightblades need nerfing.

And this is why we have RD. It's the only thing balancing ESO. Let this guy try it on me. Most likely I'll just mist form around him, pop inner light when he tries to sneak away, hit Breath of Life a few times, and then when he has 0 resources left but I'm sitting on 20 to 30k of unused magic, javelin - ice comet - RD - ballgame.

What stunlock you died in two hits. Stunlock and chaining CCs are a problem, but the problem you are facing is that you are basically standing there afk with no shields or any buffs up while not wearing impen.

Did the surprise attack stun you? The recap said you only got hit twice, and jesus that instant heavy attack for 18k. Im on youre side this is steaight up bull.

You might want to invest in a heavy chest piece at least.

I smell something fishy thouh. That NB was balsy to gank in the middle of that big group.

Impenetrable helps some against weaker NB's but I've got 2200 Crit Resist, 29K health, 14K Physical resist and 85 points into the CP for reducing Physical/Poison/Disease damage and I get smashed like that sometimes too. Between high damage proc sets like Viper, most stam builds having 4K+ WD, and the ability to animation cancel so many moves a top level Stam character has a huge advantage in PvP. Especially when CC immunity doesn't work and you get stunned then feared the instant you break the stun. And being forced into slotting a specific ability like Magelight to counter what is stupid OP burst is bad game design.

I found hilarious that people think that a player with all light armor, no impen, no shields, no buffs, no nothing, should survive a gank from a glass cannon build. "If i get instant killed while running the most squizzy setup possible, is the game's fault".

The problem that this video tries to showcase, is not a nightblade related problem
He is complaining about double-cc (even when he didn't got double CC in the video), and that is a bug that can happend with any skill that have a hard cc attach to it, it have nothing to do with the nighblade class or cloak.

A good ganker always uses poisons making sure that you don't get to use Mist Form.

Proc sets are a completely different issue. Mixing those problems up only hurts your case and makes your argument look ridiculous.

If you actually look at the health bar, the guy has 24+K health.

Exactly why i dont complain when i cant gank someone with tons of defense.

Its rock paper scissors. It just hurts when Rock trash talks Scissors for running away from a failed gank when Scissors knows it will loose the sustained battle. Is it smart for scissors to stay alive and run?..or is scissors a coward for not meeting his end?

In open world, theres no shame in running away. "Running is not weakness its strategy."

Duels are different, which is why gankers dont duel in ganker builds.

Everybody is right. The OP needs to adjust his build to be more survivable. There are some things you don't go into PvP without unless you are planning to gank/burst people down. However, there is and has been an issue with cc-locking and power creep in the game for a while and the issue is compounded if there is lag.

The guy literally is a glass cannon. To be hit that hard he is wearing 7 light, low health, no impen and isn't paying attention with inner light and not radiant. He has set himself up to be ganked like that.

Impen gear would have not saved you anyway, you just got Wrobel'd.

Alchemist proc + empowered heavy attack and you are more likely to die if you are wearing light armor and sometimes even medium too depending on what kind of mitigation you got.

Ohhh and a magicka nightblade with the right build could have one shot you as well, just sayin

You weren't alive long enough to find out stun lock because you chose to run extra magika instead of defence from stealth.

NB gank 101. Look for the target doing nothing or at the back without radiant magelight buff.
