People claiming OP is bad because they happen to always be able to break free instantly from Fear are people who are completely ignoring the fact that CC as a whole is broken.

The problem isn´t the CC, it´s that when you use fear there´s very long delay before your enemy can react to it. Happens everytime to me as well. Just fix the delay and the skill is fine

It actually does need fixing, fear suffers from something that not many other CC do. You can't break out of it until your character has their hands on their head which is NOT right after the NB activates fear. There is a second there where you can't break free and its incredibly cheezy. Do you understand that? I doubt it.

Btw I imagine its hard not to be rude around somebody who has no idea what they are talking about and refuses to listen. I'd say more but it wouldn't be allowed on these forums.

Well, I personally have never had an issue with it, my main is quite tanky really and so a couple of seconds of being feared is not going to kill her unless I am already at low health, in which case I am dead anyway. I find it annoying, but there are many things far more broken in this game than fear IMO, and stamina nb may be strong right now, but the only thing that magicka nb needs changing, is to be buffed!.

Anyway, I said what I meant to say on this thread already, and refuse to argue with people who are childish and rude, who will not listen to anyone elses point of view. The mere fact that you would chose to be even ruder irl than you just have been on these forums, because somebody made a comment that you disagree with, makes me feel sorry for you... As a trainee nurse, I have met people like you often, and the best way to deal with them is to simply ignore their existence

I agree with OP, fear and CC breaking in general has issues. We're not trying to make it unbreakable. There's no magic button combination to make it unbreakable. The CC breaking mechanics need to be looked at and I think just about every NB would happily admit that CC breaking is hit and miss...we fall victim to it too.

As long as casting Fear doesn't make Scroll carriers fall through the map and respawn at their North Gate together with the Scroll they were carrying, I can't really complain at all.

I'm confused by ali the replies saying that breaking free from fear is fine. Breaking free from fear is ALWAYS delayed. A break free from a stun can be damn near instant but my fear break frees take at least a second. I have break free bound to a single key as well so it's not that.

Never had an issue with cc break except on bad lag nights. But then again you can stand in a group of 40 and not be seen in nights of bad lag...

Im imagining you raging when you get feared and not actually breaking free bc you're so furious. It's quite funny. I bet you do that.
