Never-ending long load screens Xbox NA since update 11

I find that if I want to port into, or log into a character in a busy zone I now have to exit the game and delete my local save data, or suffer loading screens that don't end

Seriously I let it run while I worked out, and it was still spinnin over an hour later. Anyone else having this issue since update?

Try completed some of the quests in your journal or abandoning them. Some players have reported that clearing their pending quests has helped.

I have only had 1 issue since the patch. I ported to south gate, quickly ran to the blacksmithing station and my Xbox locked up. Other than that, the game has been awesome for me!

I have played ESO since launch on PC. Never really had any terrible problems with it until I bought and played the XBox one console version. I love the game but since the Dark Brotherhood update and worsening with the Hist update I haven't really been able to enjoy the game. It's due to the excessively long load screens. I thought for sure the problem was on my end but I have remedied any and all possible problems. My internet is top end. I am getting approximately 90 mbps and nearly zero latency. My console runs fine with everything else in any application. I have averaged my load screen times to be about 5 minutes and it's not just in major cities. Zoning into delves, dungeons, wayshrining, even just reading a lore book I get long load screens. I have had load screen times that have lasted almost 30 minutes. please help me understand.

I get this issue porting into the Gold Coast on my veteran characters. The one does have an almost full quest log and has completed a massive percentage of in game quests, but the other one is almost empty with very little questing beyond the main AD storyline completed and is the one that usually requires me to reboot the game. My lowby characters have no issues, still.

For me, load times since the last update have improved. About 5 seconds wayshrine within the zone, and about 10-12 going outside the zone. Its only a slight improvement from before, but it never was that bad. There were only a few times last year with unusually long load times. I have around 18 quests logged, and its still ok.

For others it could be a cache issue. You could also try mapping your port settings to your device name and MAC address instead of to the IP so that they are always available. Routers can and do sometimes assign devices different IPs.

@ZOS_DaryaK I regularly encounter long loading screens since the patch. I am almost 100% guaranteed a stuck load screen when I try to travel from Shatul wayshrine after dropping off writs to Kvatch

I have maintained a low quest count across all my chars yet still experience long load screens, missing NPC and shadow players

Same issue here. Horrible load times since patch (like multiple time out attempts) and I also haven't been able to get into the character load screen now ... going on 30 minutes. Certainly this isn't coincidence? Why no status announcement?

I should also point out, it's not failing or timing out...just eternally on the the loading screen before character select. My stubbornness won't quit out of this but it is making my blood boil. Tried rebooting X1 etc.

So while this made sense during login server issues, it's still an issue as of 9/15/2016 at 8:57am

Just wanted to log in to collect mail
What's the issue results now causing this?

To be clear:
I CANNOT CLEAR quests because I'm unable to get to the character screen
I choose to play and the loading screen stays up and then after 4-5 minutes, it tells me this is a longer than normal load ....minutes later I get error 308

@ZOS_DaryaK this has nothing to do with quests and the patch was completed during standby mode with a 300Mbs connection.

Edit:
Just got in after a couple of console restarts and long loading windows on this game. Seems there's an issue with the patch outside of quests or memory

Update....decided to try and log in this morning during low population at 7:56am EST

I am stuck on a loading screen after selecting play and it's been an actual 15 minutes and counting.....again, I've not reached the character screen so it can't be related to quests on a character.

It ended at around 18 minutes wither error 308.
2nd attempt shows the logo circling with a black screen and no other image....waits 10 minutes and gives error 308.
