Same, I thought about grabbing some pieces knowing that the prices would go up. I'd have to lose like 318 spell damage on an already low spell damage build to run it on my templar, so after spending like 10 minutes trying to find pieces at guild stores, gave up on it.

We did fight Hzarn last night, it wasn't really a big issue with blazing shield/storm knight. I called out trollpar and told no one to hit him and to kill him last. Prett is a more priority target, since he seems to just spam healing wards for all his allies. Fighting FMC, basically kill Braidas and Hzarn last. Go for their sorcs first and Subtomik is always a fan favorite to kill too.

A sorc damage build running this set is absolutely deadly. (as long as you can keep it alive) It can proc disintegrate, as well as gets all the bonuses from the storm calling line and so on. Its not funny at all. The potential honestly scares me.

Sure, they would have to stand in the poo and unless they are combining it with heavy armor and sword and shield, they are going to die. Though I was happy to see Fengrush running a sorc utility tank build, so it's cool to see other sorc builds being used besides the normal. Right now, a large portion of sorcs run identical skill bars. I would see it being more dangerous on a build more similar to Fengrush since you have hurricane combined with storm knight and riposte. Negating tank lol.

Sadly, after testing harbinger on a build with excessively high health, the damage (at least for pvp) was very underwhelming.

Basically I made a video using a set that no one had really used extensively in live PvP before. By doing that, I started to see there was something off. I didn't know it was bugged when I began using it, and didn't know exactly what was bugged or to what extent except from continued use.

I do not think the damage is bugged - it is getting battle leveled and is scalable through CP and spell power. However, what does appear to be bugged is how it procs - the proc rate is near 100% instead of 10%. It also procs off all magicka abilities, but we don't know if that was purposely done or not. I have seen it proc off some siege (like fire), and *maybe* weapon enchants that are magicka based (like shock, cold, fire) might proc it.

Because the set is procing near 100% of the time, it is very strong in group situations. I think once it gets fixed to be 10%, it's not going to be as consistent (but still strong).

And i have a hunch it will not be featured in your videos once its fixed and doesnt proc as much. ☺️

It will still be up close to 100% of the time with the amount of incoming magicka spells/damage I take.

Just quickly ran into pvp to check out the damage, and at most the set was hitting for 2358 damage and it averaged 1498, this with an average tooltip rating of 3486, so taking into account battle spirit all numbers so far seem in order.

Since it's a pulsing aoe, does it count as a dot and thus proc Valkyn? You could be proccing valkyn's even if your class doesn't have strong dot's to use.

You'd need multiple folks using twin sisters and blocking and Harbringer to really see a good effect, they do stack the last I saw. I'd say the best build for a block build like that might be with spike bone shield and razor armor to up the damage reflect. I'd be interested in seeing this synergies with gaurd as well, since its technically damaging 2 with the same set. Knowing ZOS though it would damage the guy your gaurding.

I'm just waiting for people to figure out Ice Furance Armor with Wall of Ice....Its damage is *** till you realize its got a 50% proc rate and you can stack multiple people with it...

OP the maximum damage that i did with the set with 3.8k spell damage was 5.5k per tick when it cirt. I dont know how did u get these numbers 8k+. The average damage is 3k per tick with dps spec. Definitely the set procs more often than 10% but it sitll not 100%. I guess some skills just proc it all the time.

I've been testing that set, and I've seen NO procs using Wall of Ice...

Update: Definitely works on light attacks, crushing shock.
Yeah... Pretty sure it's not proccing on WoE. After testing against numerous NPCs using just WoE, I had zero procs of "Frostfire," the Ice Furnace Proc.

Varen's was changed to only work on direct cast (i have a 5 piece of it on my sorc tank i wanted to combo with hurricane, will test if it works with storm knight but doubt it). The set could proc syvarra's but it only deals damage once every other second where that set benefits from maximum number of outgoing hits, but the set definitely helps. I've used storm knight, hurricane, and valkyn to great effect however, and its honestly beautiful. Another thing about valkyn, is the Morihaus set procs it as well, in case anyone was interested in calling down meteors by tackling people.

I have been unable to reproduce this 100% proc chance thing.

I was sooo excited that they finally gave us a Lighting Themed Heavy Armor set for my Sorc so im no longer forced to spam shields.

It seems to proc on fire, frost, shock, and magic Damage but not on physical disease, or poison damage for me,. it most certainly is being halved by battle spirit, and it don't seem to proc against stam users unless i just have had really bad luck.

I'd take Velidreth, Red Mountain, or Widomaker any day over it....I want to wear Heavy Armor on my mag Sorc and have a decent 5 piece bonus and it seems OK. I wish i got 100% proc chances.

I used to use this set back in 1.6

I used it very briefly today and I can't see what the fuss is about. It's halved by battle spirit, I sure don't get no 100% proc chance I sure wish I did.

In reality it's about 1.6k damage per second with crit a little over 2k per second..I know it pulses every two second but Valyn Skoria, Velidreth, Nerienth, heck Viper Sting and Widowmaker do significantly more damage.

I don't see what is so OP about it, it's weaker then the sets I mentioned.

It could maybe have some added utility on a Templar Blazing Shield build, but it don't seem anywhere near as OP as the set I mentioned above. In fact the set seems to be worse then it used to as it used to give two spell damage bonuses now it gives two spell resistance bonus which is a huge nerf to the set itself.

Bloodspawn has a 6% chance and pros constantly so does Malabeth even Skotia and Nerienth proc all the time if Storm knight is somehow broken so are all of those, but the set hasn't worked that way for me. I'll keep tabs on it and see but I was having trouble even getting the set to proc at all

100% proc chance on magicka skills. You may think it's not proccing 100% because of non-magicka based skills.

Only 3800 dps? When purge bug was still around I would get like 6-7k dps spamming blockade on a back flag and solo wiping Brandon's spec ops group or the moonlight crew. Was some great ap, such a shame that we dont have a blob buster like ground oils or blockade anymore.

This set is nothing more than an I win button IMO. To damage their attacker they have to do 0 abilities while wearing this set. They can literally just stand there, get hit and do damage all the while not pressing a single attack key/button. Nothing like holding block the entire time and dealing damage to attackers. This set is truly a joke.
