Why can we not have regular balance changes?

    You are asking for the impossible. Balance means different things to different people it is un measurable and intrinsically influenced by our personal bias. Balance in ESO is not quantatative or qualitative. Ask any five people in your ts and you will get 5 different opinions or just message them in chat. Test my hypothesis. People want their builds and playstyle to be strong (viable) we would not pay 7 k for each druegh wax tempering alloys or rosin otherwise.

    I am going to touch on this.

    Magic Builds are royally SOL in Cyrodiil/PVP to their stamina overloards, this is, has, and will be the case until some major changes are made to the combat and meta.

    Stamina Builds have ALWAYS been the best since 1.6, it just took the better part of 9-10 months for folks to figure it out.

    Right now, a Stamina Build can invest ALL of his resources into increasing his Weapon Damage, Stam Regen, and Max Stamina and in conjunction with the CP system + Med Armor passives is able to reduce the costs of all his skills as well as reducing the costs of Dodge rolling and Breaking free. The Unchained Passive just further pushes this point past ridiculousness combined with Vigor + Rally + Shuffle + nearly free dodge rolls for 3 secs due to the said passive.This is not to mention that the class skill stamina counterparts of skills are 20% cheaper then their magic versions and every stamina based weapon has a passive that reduces cost by 20% and magic weapons get none of this. On top of this they also get cheap and easy access to snare and root removal/immunity.

    A stamina build has a STUPIDLY ABSURD advantage over any magic build because increasing his main resource and damage pools also increase the amount of times he can dodge roll, and break free as well as his damage and sustain.

    In a game based so heavily on crowd control this puts magic builds at a huge disadvantage, and the 6 sec shield duration made this already crippling disadvantage even worse. A stamina build of equal skill should never lose to a magic build right now period and its been this way since 1.6.

    A magic build must sacrifice damage and sustain in order to be able to dodge roll and have clear weaknesses(low stamina pool) Stamina builds have no such weaknesses, the only weaknesses they have is to channeled attacks and the only channeled attack in the game that is even a threat to them is Radiant Oppression which is why they have such an agenda on the forums to nerf it.

    Simply put, Magic Builds are simply not viable at all in Cyrodiil. No matter what your class, you are at a strict disadvantage, the stamina build can mess up multiple times and you will be hard pressed to kill him because he will never run out of stam so he can break free, rool vigor + Ralyy up with Shuffle and will be very little you cna do about it...a magic build makes even 1 mistake and your dead.

    Playing a stam build in Cyrodiil is = to playing normal Maelstrom Arena.

    Playing a Magic build in Cyrodiil is = to play Vet Maelstrom Arena

    You have to play out of your mind to win with a magic build, the fight is never yours to win, its the stam builds fight to lose which is why i no longer even consider ESO a competitive game, its far too lopsided in favor of stam with very badly balanced classes where a few specs are absurdly OP to everything else which is a failure in itself.

    @Xeven Everytime I see you get stamzergtrained I just chuckle to myself...not because I think it's funny but because I think it's pathetic. I can't imagine how any sane minded player would think it's cool to play a stam class right now in the snare meta and waste time chasing down a magicka sorc. I'd be embarrassed.

    Why can't our class snare be placed like caltrops instead of a worthless cone. Lol get that, a mobile ranged class with a melee range cone snare.

    To be fair I kind of ask for it. I am always alone and I am constantly poking poking poking at them. I was poking at this EP group as they took Alessia and then Fare. I would get two or three to chase me and then kill them, or pop out behind their seige line and overload one down and streak away. In that time span I got about twenty kills, and they killed me five times.

    I got a tell from one of them later who proceeded to tell me that I "should find some friends", I'm "not very good at 1vX" and, "I have you on farm status, we've killed you five times".

    Lol Cyrodiil.

    Actually I was not surprised I had already assumed much of this and worked in a place described in the review. BTW it failed.

    Sorry but I think you aren't exactly right here. This is just a data issue. Zos doesn't release enough statistics (either because they don't collect enough info, or are embarrassed or too complacent to release them) for players to gauge balance accurately, but looking at different segments of the player population and their relative performance should give a fairly accurate view of what the balance actually is. Balance is something quantifiable and fairly straightforward if you look at numbers. It's just that people speak anecdotally because they don't have those numbers to back up their arguments with and the developer doesn't care to comment usually.
