Animation Cancelling - How is this possible?

    It is not a combat system it is not alliance war related it is a bug period. Zenimax just doesn't want to take the man power to fix it for free.

    It is not intended it is not a combat mechanic it is a broken bug.

    So what you're saying is you want ZO$ to remove animation canceling, the one thing in the game that requires skill?

    It needs 0 skill it's just a bunch of button mashing removing it would not only fix alot of bugs but would also make players actually learn how to play and get skills.

    Its a bug that needs no skill.

    Technically, it's only a bug if the devs label it as one, but their only acknowledgements of animation cancelling label it as an "unintended feature."

    No, It's not a bug, and yes, it requires a bit of practice. If you can't figure it out, there's several informative videos on youtube you ought to check out.

    No it's a bug they don't wanna take the time to fix cause it won't make them money and here's the info video right here.......

    Use your fingers on your left hand to mash the buttons labeled 1,2,3,4,5 and use your pointer finger on your right hand to mash your left mouse button.

    That's all it is literally I was doing this just to see how "skillful" it really is just mashed 4 and mashed LMB and oh look animation cancelling and that was literally the first time I ever did or even attempted it and that was just doing it manually cause common knowledge but players set up macros, bots, or what ever on their keyboards and mouses to do it for them.

    So really the only skill (using term extremely lightly) needed for animation cancelling is to have basic keyboard and or mouse programming to program them to your keyboard and or mouse.

    Well knowing the clip points and testing the micro delay on fire takes skill doesn't it?
    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    i tested and its possible, I have a mx6980 gigabyte mouse, and you can easily 'program' a macro, complete with perfect timed pauses between 'presses' to easily chain a hvy attack -> skill ->bash-> Attack -. skill (and continue as u want)

    It was so easy that I have NO DOUBT that most of those utube 'pro's' do the same thing with either a gaming keyboard or a mouse (Where the macro's are saved, and preformed FROM the device, NOT a program on pc, therefore is undetectable)'

    There are a few times where, when you would do 2-3 of them (the macros) in a row, they would basically cancel out each other, but if you time it well (IE don't mash the macro constantly) you can pull off another 10-15k dps JUST from the extra attacks, bashes, etc.

    By hand though(IE no macros) it DOES require skill, and it IS still possible, but you won't be doing constant chains of triple/quadruple hits in 1/3rd a second. (At least not every time) = you need SOME coordination to do 'other' things

    Yea it does seem a little broken with the latest changes... i had someone critrush/ weave/ incap/ weave/ reverse slice me in literally the time it took for the crit rush animation to play, I was dead on the floor before the reverse slice animation happened yet it was on my death recap.

    Its just another bug where your animation gets stuck in like a gap closer/heavy attack or channeled ability then all the damage and animations are played out instantly when it ends. Happens alot with crit rush, but I've noticed it happen with biting jabs as well.

    Would more accurately be called WrobelSlice.
