@KenaPKK I'm already a vampire ,vampire is my go to on my nb, I love concealed weapon from clouding swarm. I have all the undaunted sets but the sets which are impen are fairly limited, only my blood spawn, malubeth and skoria.

I haven't mentioned my play style but it mainly entails me line of sighting with shadow image and bursting people one by one, same in group play. Sometimes I also like to stand my ground using harness if the pressure isn't too hard. Since cloak isn't as useful anymore I want to be able to play a build that can stand it's ground and still do damage.

I saw your heavy armor destro build, do you think I could replicate your success with that on a snb build?

@vamp_emily this is for only PvP, yes? Hmmmm nah we need to make some changes to this setup.

What mundus will you be using? If whatever value you get from two divines is really worth more that the two impen you'll be losing, there's a problem. The only time divines is proper on a mageblade is when doing a straight bomb blade with apprentice, but then you'd use all divines, not just two. Mageblades use low regen, so you should be able to reach an adequate amount without giving up impen. Like I can't emphasize enough how important impen is. Mageblades heal tank with hots, so impen gives you a ton of effective health.

Julianos works, but crit is underwhelming in PvP. Between impen, resistant, transmitation, and shields, you'll be better off just ignoring the stat altogether unless you're looking to gank people without their buffs up.

Using two 2pc bonuses from 5pc sets is inefficient. I can tell you picked Julianos first for the damage then added the 2pc kags and seducer in for some tankiness and regen. It's a fine thought process, but the resulting build gives up an entire set bonus. We'll get you straightened out. ;)

For general PvP with your lvl 30 mageblade, I recommend 5 Kag's + 4 Magnus, all impen. 7 light will leave you feeling squishy. Do you have light armor passives specced yet? If so, run 6 light 1 heavy or 5-2. You need some heavy for resistances. If you don't have light armor passives yet, then run 7 heavy. Use atronach or apprentice mundus. You'll have higher damage and more sustain using that build without losing any durability.

Also remember you'll have jewelry. Finding lowbie arcane jewelry isn't terribly hard. Make some regen or damage glyphs for those, and you'll get a ton of stats.

It's nice but it's the end-all-be-all for neither mDK nor this mageblade build. mDK is in need of greater things than a dodge chance buff.

    Can has dragon Blood pls!?!?

    Also, a magicka gap closer!

@Ishammael I wish! Dragonblood needs to be better for magicka without making stam op. And what exactly doesn't work about chains?

@vamp_emily, I'm not a big fan of Julianos in PVP, unless you pair it with say Lich?
In my opinion, Kagrenac's Hope is the BiS PVP set for magicka user right now.

@KenaPKK, knows is stuff better than me, especially when it comes to Magblade.
Like him I would advise agains't 7x light armor.

In term of armor setups, I personally like: 5x light, 2x Medium.

I'm quoting myself from another thread here
What does 5 pieces light armor provides versus 7 pieces:
-15% reduce cost of magicka spells (instead of 21% with 7 light pieces)
-20% increase magicka recovery (instead of 28% with 7 lights)
-1815 Increase of spell resistance (Instead of 2541 with 7 lights)

So what is the trade off for giving 6% reduce cost, 8% recovery and 726 spell resistance to go with 2 mediums pieces?
    -Increases Stamina Recovery by 8%
-Reduces the Stamina cost of abilities by 6%
-Reduce cost of sneaking by 14%
-Reduce Size of Detection by 10%
-Increase movement speed while sprinting by 6%
-Reduce cost of Dodge Roll by 8%
-Better overall armor since there is a decent difference between light and medium.
-PLUS, if you have Undaunted level 9, you get 4% increase max Stamina, Magicka and Health

For an all around stealth build (if that's what you are going for)... that 14% reduce sneaking cost and 10% reduced detection size sounds pretty interesting!

Thanks Kena, I will do as you suggested. I normally do use all Impen, but recently I have been trying to figure out how some of these guys hit hard and kill me in 3 or 4 hits.

My plan kind of changed since I posted but what I was looking to achieve is to hit hard and try to kill them as fast as possible. If that did not work then I could rely on cloak to run away.

I picked 5 pieces of Julianos set for the increase in Spell Critical and Spell damage. I planned on switching my mundus stone to "The shadow" for the increase crit strike damage ( 12% ). Then i was thinking about using all Impen traits on the armor, and ( this is what changed since I posted ) and divine on my weapons. I also planned on using "Crushing" enchantments on my swords to lower their armor and then "physical harm" enchantments on my jewelry to do more damage when i hit them.

I then selected 2 pieces of Kag to increase my magic pool, and then 2 pieces of Seducer to increase my magika recovery.

I will go with your recommendation since I haven't crafted the armor yet,

    Thanks for the reply
