Anything better than my Build for PVE? (Stamplar 2hander with Bow DoT)

Link to my build (esohead dated abilities)

Rally, Scorched earth (i forget the new ability name), Poison inject, Jabs. Executioner at 30 below. Rune & Evasion for survival. (Uses dawnbreaker and xpert hunter passives)

For CP I put 50 in DoT, 50 in Physical/poison damage, and 20 in crits. All reduce stamina cost and dodge roll. Then 75 into elemental resistance and rest into medium armor increase and physical damage resistance increase. Vampire too.

All points in stamina, with full set of Hunding rage and Nightmother, all divines (Increase weapon damage), and the increase weapon damage enchantment on my weapons with precise. Full endurance set on Rings and necklace, each stamina with weapon damage increase enchantment

Results, 4000+ weapon damage fully buffed, 57%+ Critical on main hand. Dots for the poison inject crit up to 10k, the jabs crit up to 6k. Executioner crits up to 22k highest I've seen so far, probably could be better If I was fully upgraded to cp160.

Anything better than this? Since the CP for poison/damage increase is the same it seems to be really good for both finishers.

Drop jabs altogether. For single target, nothing comes close to Rapid Strikes right now and for AOE, Steel Tornado is king. Jabs is mediocre at both.

Lol, if you're going to tell me to drop the main dps for templars since launch for single target and switching to Steel nado for AOE then I need to see some math. I've seen players who ran that and they never do any dps because they're wasting their time single targetting people, that build is only reliable if you have cow trots or whatever. That way you're focusing more on ranged aoe than Jabs or Bow would get.

Uum, have you tried the new Rapid Strikes? It even beat the previous best single target skill (Nightblade's Surprise Attack) by 40%.

Nope :\ I guess I'll trust you and try this out. But I don't think ill be pulling enough AOE with steel nado alone unless it got super buffed somehow.

5.6k Weapon DMG. Jabs hitting for like 10k per. Montrous, just monstrous. @Alcast has some other helpful videos up on his channel. Check em out.

He has better gear than me, I don't really understand the reasoning for the shooting star set for pools, but the jabs concept seems really good I wish he would of showed the damage it does in a fight.

I need to get ring of agility.

He's got another vid where he runs a dungeon or trial with this build and he does very well. What I like is that you can mess around lots of skills without messing up the build. Like that shooting star for example, you can switch it our for any ulti and it won't harm the build.

Dual wield is more damage, end of sentance. But, right before that period is the implied "as long as you are alive and have stamina". For survivability, nothing beats 2h in a stam class right now. Trash pulls should be rally, brawler, jabs, Flawless dawnbreaker. Watch it melt.

I have 4200 damage on a 2h sword, and still end up pulling some 24-25k dps when not playing survival (read as: great group composition). If you're going to pug, accept the 18k dps and use brawler, rally, vigor. The ability to solo dungeons is kewl too.

Brawler is you're best friend for pve, trust me. I can solo orsinium group dungeons on any of my characters with that equipped. For pvp I take out brawler and put in executioner. And as someone said above, jabs and rally.

I just started pulling almost 40k dps with the guy above's build. Fully buffed I'm hitting 4000k same as last time, I need to upgrade my gear (160 and yellow), switch to dual wield, get agility set (using endurance atm), and somehow find this "Pact Axe" that increases power by 700. I looked in PVP vendors but couldn't find it yesterday.

Dual wield and bow is the way to go for PVE. DW gives you more weapon damage and an additional dot. Use power of the light for the debuff, scorched earth, rending slashes, and then jabs for the bonus crit. Then rotate flurry and jabs until the dot and light run out and repeat. With VMA weapons you can pull 50ish Bloodspawn tests.
Xbox NA : CP 160 StamPlar, MagNB, MagSorc, StamSorc, StamDK, StamNB, Level 10 MagDK & MagPlar, StamWarden, MagWarden

"We want firing off Dark Exchange in the middle of combat to feel awesome." - The Balance Lord Wrobel
    - And now it sure does, better learn how to bash folks!

I get by with a little help from logic.

I'd love to see a video where someone pulls 50k, but then I'm also very worried if I do see it.

How do you balance a game where people pull anywhere from 12 (low, but totally acceptable) to 50k dps?

    Edit for phone derpiness

@DocFrost72 I'm on console without combat logs. When I refer to 50ish I mean seconds on a Bloodspawn test, which is all we have to measure

Ah, makes much more sense. Still impressive though! And don't worry brother, I'm sure ZOS will get their collective butts in gear and give console players some form of DPS meter, and *fingers crossed* Hopefully text chat.
