Gift Runeboxes in the Crown Store

Take a Runebox. Randomize it. Give it random outfits, pets, and/or mounts with _one_ ultra-rare one. Do Not make this more than cosmetic (don't become Pay-to-Win). Sell in Crown Store.

There's a next step but I'll see if this catches attention first. I'm best contacted in-game.

If there was OWPvP in this game youd be mercilessly PKd for a week.

The 4k mount isnt enough for you? You want the next one to be in a 1k lockbox with a 5% drop chance? FU, sir. FU.

P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

I want Zenimax making money so I can continue to enjoy ESO. And since you don't know what the rest of the idea is, your response is lacking. *lol*

I hate RNG boxes. I would never pay real money for something unless I know exactly what I am getting. I can live with RNG in-game because even if I do not get the exact item I want from a dungeon boss, at least I had fun running the content with friends. There is nothing inherently fun about paying cash to open an RNG box.

I am also skeptical this is actually a good business move because I never see it in the real world. You don't see Amazon selling $10 RNG boxes that have a 99% chance of an old flash game from 1995 and a 1% chance of the latest AAA shooter game. You don't see Wal-Mart selling $10 RNG boxes with a 99% chance of containing a package of crackers and a 1% chance of containing an iPhone 6. People would scoff at those kind of tactics.

If you want to spend X dollars for a Y% chance to get something worth more than X dollars, go to a poker den or a racetrack. I want ESO to make money by selling quality content, not from being an online casino with a game attached to it.

Are you talking about buying these RNG boxes just to gift them to friends in-game? You're not opening it yourself, right? All the contents would have to be of equal value with maaaybe one ultra-rare item. Could be fun. It'd have to be 500 crowns or less, though, or I wouldn't even think of buying one.

I am not a bug fan of grab bags. In my experience they usually have things that did not sell when people could see what they were and the cost.

+1 this. Bad enough getting lousy RNG when there isn't real money behind it.
