According to this topic potash might be looted from world bosses and auric tusk might be looted from delve bosses in the Wrothgar.

Or you can deconstruct looted items for motif stones.

Motif stones are universal - you can use them to craft any armor or weapon you know the chapter for.
Have you tried to uncheck the "Have items" and "Have knowledge" checkboxes?

Fixed the problem with the pucture, here it is: my crafter who does not know how to craft Trinimac bow yet

deconstruct the pariah set items and world bosses have a chance to drop potash. you might also want to check guild stores to see if they have them for sale

I have most of my potash from deconstructing pariah gear that I don't need.
GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

I dont have any Pariah gear, sadly. Are those from PvP? If so,no wonder.I am not good enough to PvP. I'm pretty darn good in PvE though.
If anyone doesnt really need their potash, pass it this way. XD
    Alms for the poor,..

Pariah gear can be looted from treasure chests or obtained from daily quest rewards in Wrothgar.
You need to be CP150+ for chance of pariah gear in treasure chests.

Really? I have looted every chest in Wrothgar, strongboxes, and anything not held down.Lol.I have never even seen one piece.
Maybe if I do some dailies I can gather a bit of gear then.
I really did loot all the chests there.XD

Those come from the daily delve quests in Wrothgar and/or from the Maelstron Arena. So no PvP needed.

Here are the Trinimac and Malacath sets you can find in Wrothgar.

    Trinimac
    • Trinimac's Valor (dailies and chests)
    • Para Bellum (Maelstrom Arena)
    • Glorious Defender (Maelstrom Arena)

    Malacath
    • Elemental Succession (Maelstrom Arena)
    • Hunt Leader (Maelstrom Arena)
    • Mark of the Pariah (dailies and chests)

Both normal and veteran arena will do, but you will only get CP150 gear on normal mode.

Right. The things I will never do,but for the dailies.I have no interest in the Maelstrom Arena.
    Thanks for explaining though.

I think you're better off buying versus crafting, if you have the gold. It's a headache at times trying to farm and find those materials. I also found a lot of top notch weapon, armor and jewelry pieces in those thieves troves.

I could also just go ahead and buy mimic stones from the crown store. They take the place of any motif stones.
