According to this topic potash might be looted from world bosses and auric tusk might be looted from delve bosses in the Wrothgar.
Or you can deconstruct looted items for motif stones.
Motif stones are universal - you can use them to craft any armor or weapon you know the chapter for.
Have you tried to uncheck the "Have items" and "Have knowledge" checkboxes?
Here is a picture of my crafter who does not know how to craft Trinimac bow yet

I have most of my potash from deconstructing pariah gear that I don't need.
Pariah gear can be looted from treasure chests or obtained from daily quest rewards in Wrothgar.
You need to be CP150+ for chance of pariah gear in treasure chests.
Here are the Trinimac and Malacath sets you can find in Wrothgar.
Trinimac
- Trinimac's Valor (dailies and chests)
- Para Bellum (Maelstrom Arena)
- Glorious Defender (Maelstrom Arena)
Malacath
- Elemental Succession (Maelstrom Arena)
- Hunt Leader (Maelstrom Arena)
- Mark of the Pariah (dailies and chests)
Both normal and veteran arena will do, but you will only get CP150 gear on normal mode.
