Not really, I use empowered chains on my DK, and it does the same thing. It does crap damage though due to scaling with elemental expert. It should really scale off of mighty since it's typically melee characters that want to be in your face.
O gods, poor nightblades. Now sorcs shield and surge nerf is nothing.
I guess ZOS wanted to prevent gap-closing spam that way. What can I say - nice try. Spambushers will spambush anyway because of stun and empower and magicka nightblades never spamed Lotus Fan because it was too weak and expensive for that.
My fault - yes it doesnt stun it's immobilize.Ambush doesn't stun unless you combo it
One requires a path to the opponent, the other is a teleport. One does more damage because, the other can be cast at point blank range, can be cast while rooted, can be used to jump inside keeps and resource towers and if you are lucky also through a door.Strider_Roshin wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »Apples and oranges.

Okay, but it was very bad magicka-nigtblade. Good magicka nightblades spam concealed weapon. My fault - yes it doesnt stun it's immobilize.Ambush doesn't stun unless you combo it

Apples.
Oranges.
They won't fix teleporting through doors unless they fix the game wide problem with projectiles hitting you while you've already passed a door.Roehamad_Ali wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »One requires a path to the opponent, the other is a teleport. Fixing the mechanics would of made more sense . Jumping through doors , leaping out of roots were all unintentional bugs in the ability . I have no issues fixing old bugs but the notes didn't even mention those problems being addressed .

You don't move out of the root, you actually take the root with you.Bolt Escape behaves the same way and I don't think that's a really big problem.
So... how many people here honestly used the skill just for its damage then?

So several nb skills get shifted over to disease damage and effectively raise stamblade damage and this 6.5% damage reduction on a teleport based gap closer that comes with either empower or an aoe dot with a snare, you realize how good of a skill that is even if it came with no damage, right?

You're classifying all Nightblades as stamina users . Your logic with stamina is sound . An my main issue here is the outcry has been from the ability being broken mostly . I.e. The door trick , bypassing root ect .

That just comes with the skill being teleport based. If ZOS plans to make all gapclosers teleports than those would likely be fixed.

I am going to see a lot of stamina dks this update.
