I agree. I would love to be able to use a 5 piece reactive with a 5 piece willows or orgnum.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Feedback on the Imperial Physique set:

Absolutely love this in concept, and mostly in practice - legitimately capable of soloing IC sweeper bosses now (which may or may not feel ridiculous).

Only thing I really dislike is the stupid, MASSIVE blue aura that surrounds you like a giant glowy blue and black ball of energy when you have 10,000TVS. I hate how this set legitimately slaps a monstrous target on my back to enemies - they KNOW I have 10,000TVS if I'm wearing this set. Maybe that's intended, but honestly, I rather hate it and the effect completely ruins the set for me. I won't be getting it on live if it pushes through as is.

Here is my feedback on the newest motifs, overall I'm not happy with the way you acquire them.

Thieves Guild: Acquisition of motif pages from the Heists seems fine, just increase the drop rate slightly from the Malacath and Trinimac boxes so we don't need to grind excessively. However, for the style material do not add them to Troves. You've already nerfed their spawn rate into nothingness so if you expect us to run blindly around looking for the material you can keep dreaming. Add them to safeboxes instead, or increase the spawn rate of Troves significantly to compensate.

Abah's Watch: Motifs coming from the TG repeatables seems fine, but do not let them come from pickpocketing guards only. Let them come from pickpocketing any NPC instead (with a chance to find them on their corpse if you do assassinate them). Easy NPCs have lower drop rates, Hard the best. I don't want my material gathering to be unnecessarily risky or grindy. Or add them to the reward containers themselves. Anything but pickpocketing guards. I will NEVER do that.

Assassin's League: Don't like how you forced us to grind bosses again, would rather they come from the contract reward bags etc. Drop rate of style material has to be increased significantly. After killing over 100++ NPCs I only had 4 fragments. Unacceptable.

Love love the Pelinal's crafted set for my Templar which I can use to hybrid or magicka DPS or even heal with, very versatile, please keep this set!

    BUT

When the set chooses weapon power to even out spell power you can not use Structured Entropy or Spell Pots or class passives for the Minor and Major Sorcery buffs ONLY weapon power pots and minor/major Brutality buffs etc work, is this working as intended?

As soon as the set chooses which is higher any additional spell damage on items is ruled out and any buffs related to spell power do not work, it's a shame because it reduces what skills you can use for your boost but not game breaking in my opinion.

I did more testing on the gladiator set. The 5 piece bonus looks to be giving way more damage than what 600 weapon power supplies. Using 2 gold VR 16 dual wield axes I was hitting light attacks for around 1800, while low health light attacks jumped up to around 3500 damage. That is very close to double damage. Meanwhile testing with 400 extra weapon power and no 5 piece set gladiator set I was light attacks for around 2k damage and 2500 damage at low health. Which is about a 25% increase. That is to be expected with a 25% increase damage on low health targets that dual wield provides.

Tests I did several months ago before the IC patch confirmed that light attacks scale at about 1/3 of your total weapon damage ( weapon power + stamina weapon power / 3). I believe fully charge heavy attacks were just the light attack value x2. If that is still the case I should only be seeing around a 200-400 base damage increase perhaps more with % weapon damage scaling kicking in after, but no where near a doubling of light attack base damage. Something just seems off there. I'll have to test more scenarios with a single weapon .

That being said the damage needs to be this high to be worth the 5 piece slot. If the 600 weapon damage is broken it needs to be worded in a way that keeps the current scaling. Execute phase light/ heavy attacks need to be this high to be relevant. Double damage is not overkill.

A little odd...the 5th set from Gladiator reads:
(5 items) Kvatch Gladiator Your Light and Heavy Attacks deal an additional 690 Weapon Damage to targets below 25% Health.

and I'm wondering if they mean "Weapon Damage" the character stat or actual direct damage from the weapon. If it were the latter I would expect (1800 + 690) * 1.25 = 3100 damage to low health targets which is at least closer to the value you're seeing.

The latest skill coefficient calculations I did prior to the DB PTS release had most light attack damage as:
    Dmg = 0.0145371 Stat + 0.579597 Power - 0.596185

So if the former case of "Weapon Damage" the theoretical damage would be 2300 (500 increase = 0.5796 * 690 * 1.25).

I'll do another test with a single weapon, using only the 5 piece armor and no skills on my bar. Hopefully that will be easier to measure. I haven't looked at scaling for light or heavy attacks in about 5-6 months so my expectations could be off. Last time it mattered was when I was using an undaunted infiltrator build to scale my light and heavys up to 5-10k. It used to be something like:

((stamina total / 100) + total weapon power ) / 3 = light attack damage. It would equal out every time. I'll look at it more after Bill Mahr is over.

    ****************************************************************************************************

Ok so I went about testing the light attack ratio from scratch. My character had all pasives reset, all CP removed, all skills removed from the bar outside of vigor, and one single handed gold VR 16 Axe with a disease enchant. Basically a clean slate with no modifiers. My stamina was 13942 ( I rounded to 14000 for cleaner numbers). My weapon damage was 1459.

I will start by saying I don't know the armor value of open world mobs and I'm not sure where to find a pure damage target so I used senche tigers found near the Hew's Bane wayshrine.

To discover total weapon power I combined weapon damage gained from stamina with weapon damage gained from my weapon + 5 piece set.

Stamina has long been said to be around 10 stamina to 1 weapon damage. So I scaled my calculations up to 14000 / 100 = 140 stam weapon damage.

    Total weapon power is then 1459 + 140 = 1599

As a first test I light attacked a senche tiger to determine how much of total weapon power contributes to light attack damage.

Result: 812 damage. 812 / 1599 = .5 So we can see that the ratio is 50% contribution. Therefore the rest of my test should allow me to simply calculate total weapon power and divide it by two for proposed light attack damage.
    *************************************

Ok next test was to see how much Gladiator added to my light attack.

Using a purple gladiator set I should get 660 more weapon damage for my total weapon power.

    So new weapon power is 1599 + 660 = 2259.

    2259 / 2 = 1129

Proposed light attack damage at 25% health = 1129

    Actual damage = 1588

Gladiator gave a 29% increase of damage over the proposed damage. So that got me to thinking maybe the ratio was off. I decided to stage 2 more tests to see if my 50% ratio plays out the way it should.

    ************************************************************

Next test all variables remain the same except I add a health infused VR 16 Molag Kena Shoulder. This increases total weapon power by 129.

    1599 + 129 = 1728 total weapon power

    1728 / 2 = 864 proposed damage

Proposed light attack damage = 864

Actual light attack damage = 871

As you can see pretty much on the money. Less than a percent off with rounding looked pretty safe. Next I decided to test a light attack with 600 weapon damage added to it. This was to be conducted above 25% health. The closest I could come was using the Molag Kena overload proc. It would give a total of 645 weapon power.

    *********************************************************

Last Test all variables remain the same except I add a health infused VR 16 Molag Kena Shoulder, and 1 VR 16 health infused Molag Kena Helm. This increases total weapon power by 645 on overload.

    1599 + 129 +516 = 2244 total weapon power

    2244 / 2 = 1122 proposed light attack damage

Proposed light attack damage = 1122

Actual light attack damage = 1103

Again a small percentage off this time by nearly 2% but nothing so large as to say the initial ratio doesn't work. As you can see a light attack scaled up to 2259 total weapon power by gladiators previous test is far higher than a light attack scaled up to 2244 total weapon power.
    ****************************************************************************

So my conclusion is that gladiator is indeed raising the potential damage far more than what a 660 weapon damage bonus would. It may further balloon in damage as % modifiers come into play. I didn't test heavy attacks but I eye balled the same trend. I think the damage is appropriate but the scaling isn't showing how high it actually is.

you can do the same on live servers now, just items will be vr16 not CP160

Also found bugs with the node scaling. I have level 10 in all crafts and am 160CPs and above. I however am getting rubedite/ebony ore in the same node. Same thing for clothing scraps and wood. The tier 5 stuff is getting mixed with m tier 10 materials, which I thought was not supposed to happen at all according to some dev post long ago. Also from the post I got the impression that say a level 50 with BS 10 would see rubesite and ebony nodes spawning next to each other, not two types of ores coming from the same node. Fix it please.

Costumes looks great but while wandering through the city in a DB robe with some assassin personality this idea just came into my mind: What if costumes play a bigger role when interacting with npcs in town? You're an assassin... people should run in fear from you. You're a nice girl in a very sweet dress... people should come towards you to admire your beauty. Ofc different factions could look at you in a different way.

Vicecanon of Venom - bug: the bonus of 5 pieces is applied also when casting Piercing Mark (NB - Mark Target) from sneak, even if this skill is not an attack.

Considering the range of this skill, especially in Cyrodiil, it's better to fix this bug.

The skill works perfectly without this full set.

But for this, the tooltip of the 5 pieces bonus could be more specific since the poison damage is applied just to one target.
I presume this mechanic is intended, otherwise it should be fixed accordingly.

    New Imperial City sets:
    • As already suggested, they should have also Jewelry added to them.
    • The style of these sets should not be the basic one of the races but something related to DB patch or the alliance styles.
    • Obtain them just through bags could be a really long lottery, considering the armor and traits: at least Jewelry or a base version of them with Impenetrable should be sold by merchants for an higher price than old IC sets. You could add to bosses a new droppable item - coin required to buy them, to avoid these sets would be bought directly at DB release.
Another option is to add to the vendor more bags divided simply into light, medium, heavy armor (small and big pieces) and jewelry.

Here is my feedback so far:

•We made new item sets available in Imperial City.
•Do you like what’s currently available/offered? Yeah between the buff to Black Rose, the sets that are already there, and the new ones. I'll be spending some time in Imperial City Farming for sure.
•Do you plan on using them?
Maybe. Black Rose fits my playstyle all too well already. The one I am most interested in is Thews of The Harbinger. I will likely only use it after I see some numbers from people using it, but it seems a solid PvE Dungeon Farming set. Also, Imperial Physique will generate some interesting builds, it offers so much in the way of stats even without the full bonus.
•If you were able to acquire any of the new item sets from Dark Brotherhood, what are your thoughts on those?
Hide of Morihaus has excellent telegraphs. It can also affect opponents while you are in the vulnerable frame at the end of a dodge roll. Its fun and provides some good stats. I may end up using this for my Stamina Templar as he doesn't have a lot of cc readily available.
•Do you have any other general feedback?
I was doing some testing with the new Varen's Legacy and was disappointed. It only affects 1 Target within the AOE with the bonus damage. This is important because the proc rate is so low that you are only really procing it when affected by multiple opponents. I didn't run a dungeon with a damage meter as my PTS doesn't seem to like running addons. So this is mostly speculation but I'd consider either:

Keeping the proc chance the same, significantly lowering the damage bonus (like 1600 ish), but letting it effect all targets. (Specializing it for Trash Mobs and/or AoE grind)

    or

Giving it had a much higher proc chance (like 20%+), slightly lowering the damage, but otherwise keeping it the same. (Specializing it more for bosses/single target).

I guess since Thews of The Harbinger now exists, Varen's Legacy should probably be more of a boss killing tool?

    Final suggestion for Varen's Legacy....

Give it a slightly higher proc chance, keep the damage roughly the same or buff it, but on aoe cast split the bonus damage is equally among all targets hit by the cast. So if you hit only one target with an aoe it deals 3300 bonus but if you hit 5 targets it deals a bonus 660 to all of them.

For a seven trait crafting set....it just doesn't feel that useful as it currently is. I honestly feel that for the tank concerned with dealing damage, that the five trait Nobles Conquest would be better. Or Thews... But that is Tel Var so its okay if its stronger.
