Increasing the spawn rate of lockboxes was a terrible mistake. They already respawned too fast in some places and now they are just like troves when they first launched.

I doubt ZOS would reset achievements like that.

Honestly I've only seen one or two people who've done it as even on VR1 it is still very hard. Not too worried since people only had two weeks to do it..

What, you don't like that noise? ;) It's something we're still working on fixing; certainly not intended!

We didn't have anything in this patch, but we will continue to iterate on it and will have some improvements going into future incremental patches (we won't wait until a major update).

No increase in trove spawn frequency? And no fix for the broken trove mechanics?

I would post in the other thread, but it's been sunk and all our posts deleted. ZOS, censorship is not the way to go when it comes to discussions.

We put in a fix last week for troves - they were never meant to spawn as frequently as they were, and what's live now is what was intended all along. While they shouldn't be as rare as lockboxes, it should take a bit of effort to find them, and they won't always spawn in the same location.

To your other point, there was one discussion about troves that was closed since it was getting way off-topic and rude, but there are still other existing threads discussing troves that you're welcome to post in. It's not about censorship, it's about following the code of conduct for the forums.

Thanks for the reply @ZOS_GinaBruno. If the spawn rate is intended, can you also confirm that the current mechanics where troves pull players out of stealth the moment they look inside; as well as where the bounty is being applied before the items are actually taken is intended? Thank you.

How about the bug where the Group Finder doesn't always battle-level everyone to VR16 and instead the dungeon just scales to group leader?

Still no fix for the audio issues :(

Unfortunately not. The team is still investigating and working on implementing some fixes, but just didn't have time to make it into this incremental.

I was really looking forward to playing again. In my mind all these other things are minor and situational.

The fact that such a massive audio bug could make it through months of PTS and get pushed to live is truly astonishing to me. I honestly just can't comprehend how that even happens.

    Dont worry.

Next patch - they'll hotfix the respawn rate to 10% as quickly as now, but keep the low level junk they reset the loot to.

I was on the beach fishing several days ago and was on my 3rd or 4th fish when I got a notice pop up that I had generated a bounty and that I was now notorious or whatever.
So timetraveling while looting a trove to get the bounty before looting it doesn't seem wacky anymore.

What about these major issues @ZOS_GinaBruno ?

    1. Audio issues in 64bit. Effects, voice-overs, interrupted and/or muted music. You name it, it's there. It's so common and so obvious for so many people. The sound on 64bit is broken, simple as that.

    2. Horse speed... too slow or too fast with stamina bar bouncing up and down.

    3. FPS going nuts sometimes on both 32 and 64bit. I've noticed that the game runs best when freshly started. The more you play the game, the more game chokes on FPS. It's not so drastic, but I think I'm missing around 10 fps compared to pre-TG patches.

    4. Disappearing players in PVP. If you're in the group, you can see the arrow above, but that player is inaccessible for any damage or interaction, but s/he can attack you.

Please give any info, even "we're actively working on that" would do!

The pink textures is the only thing specific to the 64bit client. The audio failure is also a 32bit problem.

They should have been "working on it" before they pushed a patch live that breaks core engine rendering.

I'm tired of being called "negative" by calling them on this. If someone doesn't hold their feet to the fire they will keep assuming this sort of lax quality control is acceptable business practice.

^^ What's done is done. Yeah, it's beyond me how they didn't see or hear all those issues in 64bit flavour during testing AND PTS. But that's their business practice that I know nothing about.

However, I'd be seriously worried if they would neglect these issues and just carry on like nothing happened. I still hope they treat 64bit as beta, because it's still not included in the Launcher.

As far as I remember, they talked about fixing the white noise in Audio, but that post disappeared. However small, that would still be a step in the right direction for fixing the complete audio mess.

PLEASE stop saying this is a 64bit issue. This is the 32bit client:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2X0xgi6Wkb0

When people say that it sounds like "well they didn't quite finish the new 64 bit client" which sounds not so bad, since it is new and we never had a 64bit client before.

That is NOT what happened here.

ZOS has pushed ANOTHER patch that wrecks core rendering on ALL clients.

Someone needs to hold corporate's feet to the fire on this. They are the ones pushing for "release date or bust" which has been a fail model for decades.

    EDIT: Kittens are cute.

So be it. I don't have audio problems in 32bit, but 64bit is a total mess. I've read countless of posts about audio problems, but all were addressing 64bit game.

But I assume the sound is bugged overall. Don't think that my questions posted here interfere how they see or treat their own issues with the game. This is merely informative. Unfortunately though.

I did actually have this issue last night when in a solo dungeon. I kept hearing a Draugr's screaming death sound over and over again.
And in Riften, I was hearing random sounds like water rushing, people talking, hooves running through water. All sorts of weird random sounds.

Running the Repair tool has fixed it on my end. But that was so weird. And I was on the 64bit version.

Incremental does mean that I cannot play for another week? :/
It's really boring because can't solo anything in imperial city without risking to do a gigantic travel everytime (not talking about pvp death) or if you pick random dungeons you have to ask everytime to be resurrected even if I have almost 800 soul gems with me T_T can you just release an hotfix when you find where the problem is?

They most likely have nobody to test anything... using the PTS for people to test it works somewhat but its not as effective as having actual testers.
