Can't "revive here" - game-breaking bug

I tried a lot of things to get this bug, and now I've got it.
I was able the use the "revive here" function until I used the grouping tool and went to WGT.
When I died, I wasn't able to 'revive here' anymore.
Now it's up to you ZOS!
That's huge news if it is indeed the culprit. Did you queue alone and for a random dungeon? Or in a half or full-formed group and specifically for WGT? I've queued alone and in groups, for specific dungeons and for random ones.Edited by daemonios on 14 March 2016 22:290 -

I queued for a random normal dungeon and solo - this time.
With my other chars (who too got the bug) also random normal dungeon, but in a group.
Also, we had quite some people leaving and joining the group. Might be important information too.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I've just confirmed with a friend who's used the LFG tool quite a bit, in addition to running dungeons like ICP and WGT with me, and he never had the revive issue.0 -

I had this happen once in Hew's Bane at Thrall Cove, fighting the overland boss there with a group. Had to respawn to a wayshrine and missed out on the kill...

Just to be clear, it's not the grouping tool (how would that even cause that) and only a handful of people get this bug.
But either going to a dungeon or dying in a dungeon must be the cause of this.
I've logged everything I have done, and I was clearly able to revive before I went to the dungeon.
I haven't done anything in between my last rez and going to the dungeon.
You might try it for yourself and see if you can reproduce it: take a char you haven't played since the dlc launch, die and try to 'revive here'. If it works, go to a dungeon, die, share what happens.
This must of course being done on an account that already has this bug, since it seems to be account related.0 -

kit_sune✭✭✭I've got this bug, and it's the worst. I know the exact point where it happened. Me and a friend were grouped together in hew's bane trying to kill the slavemaster world boss. We kept getting messages "you can't do this while dead" even though we had 40% health. After that message we would die instantly. Even though we were dead, we could not rez ourselves but the bosses fear continued to effect our dead selves. Since that fight, I haven't been able to rez myself on the one toon I did that boss on. I can't rez myself out of hew's bane as wellEveryone's Favorite Fox1

Yeah, with my first char I also noticed it the first time after I got killed by her. So when I tried to reproduce the bug it was on my agenda to get killed by her. But it didn't happen this time:

IlgaBeck✭✭Just adding my name to the list of affected parties. It just seems to be my main character affected (Vet 11 Imperial Templar).
For the record, I've never been to WGT. I have been to dungeons but so have my other unaffected characters.
No idea when it started but I first nioticed it soon after the TG update.1 -

I can confirm I am experiencing the same revive error.
I have discussed with support through a ticket but although explored a variety of solutions / checks, no result has been found at this stage.
a)I have tried purchasing new empty grand soul gems and charging them up; this did not work.
b) I have tried changing my games settings to use soul gems purchased for gold first over store purchased soul gems; this did not change anything.

I only play one character, I have not tested others.

Last successful rez was in a dungeon three days ago.

I have 64 bit machine, and was running from usual shortcut so am uncertain which is the default version.
However I have run it directly from the 32bit and 64bit applications and same result for both.
I tested Reward soul gems, changed and not charged and they did not work.
I will add that I have put all existing soul gems in my warehouse, and purchased more.
I tested NPC purchased charged, and purchased self charged. Neither worked.

Last time I successfully used was with another lower level character somewhere in stonefalls I think. First time i had the issues was at a world boss in hew's bane not sure which one it happened at first.

It now happens everywhere, hews bane, craglorn, lowbie zones

I don't have any crown soul gems.

You can't even click the button in cursor mode. If you got no soulgems or perks the error sound plays but when you do have a way to revive yourself it simply doesn't respond to clicks or hotkeys.0 -

I have no idea how far you are into investigating this problem, but if you need someone to reproduce this bug, so that you in the meantime can log stuff, do some diagnostics or whatever, I'll gladly volunteer.
