Loss of toggle ability visual affects

Dear Bethesda / Zenimax

I don't often post on these forums as I'd rather just spend time actually playing the game, but I have come here to log 2 major complaints.

1:
Obviously the update has changed some skills, and updated them to make improvements, this is all fine. What I am absolutely so sad about is the loss of my Dragonknights Flames of Oblivion visual affect. (I am sure many of those using Magelight feel the same) I understand it is no longer a toggle ability any more, except you get the passive affects as long as the skill is slotted. So when I use it I now just get 15 seconds of fireball launching. I don't really want to get into the intricacies of discussing skill mechanics in depth, I cam here to say that I love and play this game as a roleplayer, I never pvp, and part of what I loved about my character was the visual affects this skill provided. It made her a master of fire, her inner dragon woven into a spell made visable as she traveres the world burning her enemies. And now that's gone.
I don't really understand why this visual affect was taken away unless it has something to do with pvp. In which case could it not just be disabled in Cyrodil?

2:
I recently went through the problem that many EU players were having with crashes on start up. Apparently what had changed was the game now has a minimum system requirement of Direct X11 instead of Direct X 9. Luckily for me I recently updated my motherboard and processer so those are capable of running DX11 while my graphics card is not. Having disabled my graphics card and using the onboard graphics settings I can now run the game. But I do not think it is even slightly fair that minimum game requirements were changed in a patch without any warning. I am lucky to have had this work around but many are not.

Thank you for reading.

    1. You can keep the fireball effect by pressing the button regularly. The eve t is tied to that aspect of the skill.

    2. Sounds like your in good shape after you upgrade your GPU. Good luck. Make sure your PS is sufficient for your new GPU.

I do understand that I can get the affect by using the skill. It's just that mashing that skill rpeatedly for the visuals is not a fun replacement. =/

They need to return the toggle to inner light and flames of oblivion. We like toggles don't get rid of the cool ones.

    Suggestion for a fix:

For both magelight and flames of oblivion make the character specific effects (glowing blue eyes/hands and flaming shoulders respectively) apply as soon as the ability is on your bar. Then have the floating ball effect for both abilities only show when you actually activate the ability.

Would you guys agree that this would work for your requests yet still show you visually when the ability is activated?

Hate that they removed that fireball...half the reason I used the skill lol.

Time to go back to magelight I guess, bonus is better anyway.

    This.

Not having to activate an ability for procing my skoria set was amazing. Doubt I will waste the time to activate it now...it only worked well as a passive thing.

    This would be perfect.
I don't know how often I tried to "activate" the Magelight yesterday because I thought it's off lol
This visual effect is definitely missing. If I would actually SEE that it's active, it wouldn't cause me trying to re-activate it all the time.

Passive visuals made this skill more valuable to me than what the skill actually does =/
