As someone who really wants dueling it angers me that it is not in the game and there is no ETA on it.

Speely✭✭✭✭I am a fan of dueling and, as its own issue, wish it were already in. That said, and to play devil's advocate, ESO is supposed to (ostensibly) be a war game, and as such the developers need to be focused on feedback from players involved in said war games. The danger of dueling is that there will be an entire other level of feedback (complaints) focused on the dynamic of dueling rather than the interdependent and social PvP that ESO currently focuses upon.
If the current model were working well, I would say HELL YES in a heartbeat, but since I am a fan of social open world PvP and think lots of work needs to be done there... Well lets just say I would love to see the AvA dynamic made more meaningful AND to have a friendly dueling option on the side. I just hope ZOS' team has enough wisdom to not balance around dueling.2 -

✭NeverThe reason why I am against dueling has nothing to do with dueling.
It has to do with the attitude of some of the people who seem to think the best place to duel is right beside an emp keep that is needed for the dethrone. And I am not sorry for interrupting the duel by trying to dethrone the enemy emp.0 -

Arenas sound really cool IMO.
And they are going to add them just no eta, I don't understand why people wouldn't want them, but that's your opinion and your a entitled to it.
I really want 12v12 battlegrounds though, and I would love to see a map on one of those floating rocks in cold harbour or maybe on a boat somewhere in the ocean.
One thing I can agree with though is if they do implement these, that they don't add some super overpower weapons as a reward if you play it enough (like world of Warcraft) but instead add a cool pet, or polymorph or costume.
And if arenas and battlegrounds are added, I think a score chart would have to be added too.

That being said, I'm not always up for "Large Scale PVP", or as I like to call it, ZergBrawl 2016. Plenty of players not currently represented on the forum have machines and service providers which cannot handle Cyrodiil battles like ZoS envisioned. Give us the choice to have smaller arenas and personal duels!0 -
