sup bros? why is the downloader consistently ***. Tried my DL at my office (insane speeds) still no more than 1mb/s. Tried my brothers place (dude's job requires speed) still no more than 1mb/s tried at home where I regularly get 40+mb/s for other downloads and still no more than 1mb/s on this. What the ***

first off, make sure that the App Nap feature is disabled for the launcher app, for this might interfere with sustained download speeds.
Then, a new patch has been released for NA on Monday and for EU on Tuesday. The thousands of client launchers downloading this patch simultaneously might put a strain on the CDN.
And lastly, if you're on WiFi, try using a network cable if possible, as this usually helps to avoid packet loss, and the diminished bandwidth caused by re-transmissions that comes with it.
