Stamina regen while stealthed nerf?

Suddenly it's 0 while moving in stealth. I stop moving and my regen catches up but that's useless as a stamina NB.
I can not stealth to a target and arrive with 1/2 stamina when I attack. Anyone?

Become a Master Thift and get the 40% stealth coat reduction from the "Thieves Guild" and with 5 Medium minimum for a Stamina build you should have an extremely low cost to sneaking. Like running move in stealth is a continuing drain so your regen should stop it's like channeling an attack you can regen while channeling.

With low cost to sneaking and good regen 2k for your main pool and 1k for the other pool (Blue drinks or Purple if you're not a Vampire other wise you will lose 75% of that health regen off bat.) you should be fine hope this helps you.

this is no bug. It has been like this for a very long time and is, in my opinion, a perfectly balanced feature. with the right passives, a stamblade can sneak for a VERY long time. I have all medium armor passives, all legardemain passives, and can sneak for a huge amount just based on those. Letting me regain stam would make stealth OP.

Before it was fixed, nerfed or whatever, I was able to perma stealth on my Nightblade. The high regen was enough to keep me going permanently.
Kinda sucks it's fixed, but I can understand why.

It was fixed. In 1.6 a bug was introduced allowing drink regen to stay while moving in stealth. Now the only regen that will remain while moving in stealth is CP's from Mooncalf.

This is not a nerf but a fix for a bug.

Also to note, your regen will return once you stop moving. Thus all you have to do is stop for 2 seconds, fill your stamina with one tic and continue on. However as others have stated, 7 medium, 4 points in ledgerdemain and CP's in Mooncalf will allow you to actually regen stam while moving in sneak still.

You can totally regen stamina and keep moving while stealth as a stam nightblade, without any bug or exploit.

I've invested in all of the possible sneak cost reduction passives, including the very important legerdemain reduction. I equip a 5 piece Night Silence (eliminate sneak speed penalty) plus concealed weapon (+25% speed while in sneak). So now sneak is about as fast as run. Add retreating maneuvers (+40% movement speed) and you're flying. I don't really know how these stack, and if you get 100% + 25% + 40% speed or 125%*1.4 speed, but I sneak along about as fast as a horse.

So the issue is that RM drains your stam on a long haul. No worries. Fly across Cyrodiil in sneak, and when stam runs out...just stand up. No seriously, even in the middle of enemies...just stand up.

Well, use dark cloak, obviously. Right? Dark cloak gives you about 4 seconds of non-sneak stealth, during which time your stam regens. DC about four times, your stam should be about full, then go back into sneak. Because DC runs on Magic, what this does is perpetually sneak power you using alternating stam then magic.
