Hey guys, you should take this seriously, First Person View must be more wider/broader/realistic. It's not that useful in the game. My suggestion and respect to Bethesda and Zenimax.
I agree. You should have the option to increase the field of view beyond its current maximum on the settings slider. Also, the camera in first person shouldn't be so close to the ground, especially because the world is so huge and is built to accommodate numerous players in the same area. It makes you feel small. Having the option to adjust the vertical offset in first person like in third person would be awesome.
First Person View was added as an afterthought, the game is meant to be played in third person.
I would disagree of what you've said, The Elder Scrolls is known to be the game with FPV and TPV. Both are functional in the past games like Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. All of the said game has a comfortable playing of FPV.
" They said they weren't going to do it. People objected. They changed their mind. And now, behold: The Elder Scrolls Online has a first-person-with-hands mode. "
I always play in 1st person and really dislike 3rd person, the only time its an issue is you have less awareness of what's happening around you and sometimes miss the red circles I'm standing on. A wider field of view would be welcome though, I have it on max and it could be wider.
I stopped using first person mode once I realized that when using a bow was target assisted and you can not use like before and arc the arrow up to reach greater distances
