Should your stats change so dramatically if you don't update gear every 2 levels on BwB?
This is my strategy, it's a lot of work and a time consuming process, but first build a crafter character and power level that through to where you can start making decent items and earn a tight profit. Then build your main character and use your crafter and treasurer character to supply it with gear and to finance your campaign. Of course this is exactly what ZoS wants us to do, as a major time sink and I'm falling right into their clever trap but it's mostly necessary at this point.

Perhaps there could be like Crown Gear Upgrade Kits in the crown store that would allow players to conveniently just click and make given set go up a few levels. Or Crown Scroll of Gear Epic Upgrade that would make given set auto-scale depending on wearer's level. For a few bucks, players could play instead of making the same gear over and over.
How about:
Keep it how it is. I like crafting new gear, and it makes sense that as you level up so should your gear - as you get better and meet more hardy foes. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE RICH TO CRAFT FOR YOURSELF!
Am I the only one getting tired of polls where the choices are quite extreme??

This poll is useless. You need to Poll players who play in BWB only. Those who don't will skew the results.
Pretty much why I'm not really a fan of polls. Created a lot of discussions, but very few of these type of things for pretty much the reason you described. There's too many ways for the results to get screwed up, making it utterly useless.
