Cloak only an issue since imperial city?

    Cloak is honestly popular because it makes it easy to get tel var stones thats mainly it.

    (Example - Last patch I could perma cloak and keep 100% mana ready to attack, This patch you cant really do the same, sometimes I start fights at 20% - 50% mana)

    As I've said in many posts, the problem with cloak is not it's ability to be countered, it is its ability to (a) be used to indefinitely avoid damage and (b) be used as an auto escape from players around mobs.

    Magicka nightblades currently have the ability to control when a fight begins AND when it ends, at any time, irrespective of counters.
    This rationale was used to implement changes to bolt escape and it's morphs (yes it had counters too, you just didn't use them).
    Subsequently, no other class now currently has this capacity.
    The exact same rationale applies here: a class has the absolute capacity to dictate the terms of a fight, and it has been determined, by popular opinion, that that capacity is imbalanced.

    It has absolutely nothing to do with the players capacity.


    Last season on Azura DC I hit top 2% and top 2% Sorcerers, so your theory about this having to do with player's ability is false.

    Thats Nightblade in general having the power to escape and return, like seriously? Do you read class description?
    thats like stating that dragon knights shouldnt be able to take a beating or templars shouldn't be best healers...

    Magicka NB is pretty squishy outside cloak, now "any" good player can survive outside cloak but compared to most other classes we are weak outside cloak.

    are you saying remove these skills that make nightblade a nightblade? are you saying nerf them? Do you want them to nerf NB escape options and make us more tanky? (whats the point in it being a nightblade then?)

    and dont even bring "balance" into the picture, ZOS threw that away when CP was announced.
