There will be plenty of new content that grants experience, both in PVE and in PVP. If you prefer to grind goblins to reach veteran 16 then that is your choice. I want to enjoy new content and get to veteran 15 and then veteran 16. Oh wait, I cannot. During the months of being veteran 14 I've gained experience and now all it takes me is to step on a mudcrab and here we go, I'm already halfway through the new gameplay I was offered, hooray!
At the moment the level cap is veteran 14 and once you've reached it you should not be allowed to store experience towards another level that does not exist in the game yet. This is to what I apply, to the inconsistency of where the limits are. Completing achievements for example grant you achievement points. If you kill 50 Flame Collosi in veteran City of Ash dungeon you get [Veteran Flame Collosus Slayer] achievement and 10 achievement points. Can I please have 100 achievement points if I grind City of Ash and kill 500 Collosi? Can I please instantly be veteran 16 the moment I log in on 31st of August?
Are you serious? The upcoming update adds two veteran ranks. You want it to become just one rank the moment you gain any kind of experience (killing one mob that grants experience, exploring unvisited location, opening a locked box, completing a quest, etc.)? I want two veteran ranks, not one. I want to level up not in a matter of seconds but rather hours.are u @#!ing serious? so all the xp ive earned all this time should get wiped?
hell no!!

Why stop with 99% of a veteran rank worth of experience you can stack up between months of one level cap and the next? Why not then store infinite number of veteran ranks and be imediately granted all veteran ranks that are added with each level cap increase in major patches? So you immediately become veteran 16 when 2.1 comes out at the end of this month, then at next major upgrade you are immediately veteran 18, then in next few months you are immediately veteran 20? Can I pre-grind seventy eight veteran ranks worth of experience? So all the xp I earned from the last cap up til should go bye bye? Maybe I don't want too repeat stuff to get that xp back, while we're at it all the skills I leveled should go back too? Get real, stop imposing on my gametime. Its a hindrance if you DONT allow the xp I've earned to count.
Yes. There should be no option to gain experience in advance prior to any upcoming level cap increase.
Similar leveling up nonsense to what exists at the moment would be to allow the handful of existing Grand Overlords to stack alliance points to a possible added alliance rank so that they would instantly advance in next alliance rank if it were added in future.
Do you see my point? Levelling up for one veteran rank is absolutely trivial, it takes one hour or so but I want to do it when the upgrade comes and not have it granted for me in some non existent veteran 14,001 -> 14,999.

On live you will need to level 2 VR levels. Have you never played a computer game before?! OMG...
Surely this is a troll thread? If so, bravo op, you really got the derps going...
My copied DK got v15 instantly. But after just a few short gameplay sessions (less than 3000 TV stones banked) his XP bar is already 1/3 filled towards v16.
The lowered XP requirements combined with the high XP earned in IC, and the high mob density means the new veteran leveling will be over in a flash, regardless whether you have to actually level from v14 to v15 or not.
This is a non-issue, really.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

But the current level cap is veteran 14, it is not veteran 14,5 or veteran 14,99. I don't want a dumbed down system where you don't even feel like you've done anything and here you are immediately at next rank when you've downloaded the update and were not required to do absolutely anything. You don't need to do any quests, don't even need to kill a few goblins in Cyrodiil, you are immediately veteran 15. The only people who will have to gain experience to level up from v14 to v15 are those that have just reached v14 literally before the upcoming patch. Do you want entire ESO community to be only given v15 to v16 experience of gameplay whereas v14 to v15 is just cosmetical? I don't want that and it makes me feel robbed.

Instead of being insulting, you could just say "PTS is bugged and it will be fixed for Live". Although I wonder what your source is for that.Truewavesound wrote: »I appreciate it's confusing to a lesser intellect, because of the way it is working on PTS. You'll see on live.
Have funs
For veteran 14 character all it takes to level up to veteran 15 is to kill one mob or otherwise gain a minimum of experience. So on a third level-cap this game has seen everyone will be halfway through the increased level cap the moment they kill a skeever or open a lockbox. Please fix it!
