    Could be 70%, 80%, 90%, or even 100% with corrosive armor, these numbers do not matter. The only thing you should talk about is how much damage caused by stamina skills you take when shielded. Can you remind us with these numbers? Oh yes, a flat zero, because no one can take down 20-30k damage shields when these abilities are perfectly timed and well played.

    Best answer I can offer would be internal resource issue at ZOS. Meaning that they do not have a large team like another game company fixing these defects. I could speculate all day long about why they are deliver things at a slower pace. I could makes some assumptions based off of what I know of the software industry as a whole, but this would not be a healthy way for us to spend our time.

    I know that most people on a individual basis are passionate about what they do. This is very true when it comes to "Most" developers that I know and work with. So know that the people working on these issues really do want to help in general and make the game better, but just might be limited on how fast it can happen.

    I would say that they already have that fix on the schedule. Pushing emergency hot fixes are generally never scheduled. They are aware of this one and plan to fix it. If you don't want to play till its fixed then put the game down for a bit and go play outside or quit whining about it as they already informed to public of the fix. Trust me you will survive till next month.

    As broken as nirnhoned is right now, my full-heavy DK with capped spell resists still gets hit for almost half his HP by a single crystal shard if i don't block it.

    So i say, fix nirnhoned at the same time the overall cyrodiil damage gets nerfed (i.e. with the IC patch), not before. It's broken, but currently the only counter to other things that are just as broken.

    Nirn far exceeds that hard cap, and that's a bug in my book - can't be working as intended.

    The hard cap is only for the Armor/Spell resist portion of mitigation not mitigation itself.

    You can stack Armor/SR with other forms like Champion Passives. Set bonuses, Shield Blocking reduction etc.
