So hopefully you've learned a valuable lesson-- instead of expecting to kill another player in a matter of a second or two, perhaps plan to actually fight him by using well timed damage and CC and heals (yes, you can heal yourself too!) and managing your resources.
You can not interrupt Wrecking Blow.

Oh, I rarely kill anyone in a matter of seconds. I really don't even know the best burst damage for the build I'm running. Wrecking Blow is great but is so easily interruptable that it's often hard to land. If I get a chance to go one on one it usually takes a while and I'm often using Green Dragon Blood, Obsidian Shield and then hopefully Corrosive Armor when I think I can finish them. My issue in this case was I simply couldn't overcome the amount of self heals this guy was doing to himself. I even tried the standard interrupt at a couple points but his teleport (or whatever it's called) kept giving him room. I'll have to look at what I have available for range in my skills. Maybe if I could have kept some pressure up whenever he gained space it would have went differently. I was just wondering if there was a healing debuff skill that I was missing.

Well that's just not true. None of this is going to matter after the patch anyway. They are reducing shields by 50%.Sorcerers stacking Hardened Ward and Healing Ward have been a problem for quite a while, there is no counter to that kind of survivability, all you can do is get some buddies to help you.
