As it stands now, Radiant Magelight is the correct answer.DeanTheCat wrote: »If you get sniped with Camo hunter active on the attacker and the proc kills you, the snipe will not be displayed in the recap. Considering the current gold standard for snipes on the EU server is 22k damage per snipe, I'm not surprised you got one shotted. In addition, Camo Hunter has a 4% chance of activating on any target, not just vampires or werewolves. The damage in your recap looks in line with the 4% proc rather then the 100% from stealth on a vampire.
If you haven't already tried it, Radient Magelight is an incredibly potent counter to snipers, as it reduces the damage from stealthed attacks by 60% to you and your allies within a 10m radius of the glowing blue ball. It also prevents the stun from the stealthed attack. The sheer power of this counter is well worth the price of two slots. If you choose not to make use of this hard counter, the price you pay is that you'll constantly get one shotted by any competent sniper/ganker.
Are you really telling ppl with a straight face that giving up 20% of their active combat skills should be desirable in a 5 button game and if they choose to not partake in this nonesense deserve to get oneshotted? What about ppl needing magelight for pve - shall they go to hell altogether?
Also radiant magelight does do sh*t against nightblade stealth attacks - they will still stun you bc of the class passive and gankers with the right combo will still "oneshot" you with their supercombo of 3 attacks that does not even need the stealth attack bonus...
Let´s make it that you can only dodge the first procced crystal frags / cloak the first jesus beam in a fight if you have syphoning attacks slotted on both bars and toggled. That seems fair.
